Mazda 3 1.6d - Loose Connection on Injectors 10 Aug 2014 (Forum)
I must admit this sort of thing makes you wander if you have bought the wrong car, In 25 years of car ownership, this is my 6th car, I have never had a breakdown or near breakdown. Should I just write this off as 'one of those things ?...I know some mazda diesels have been troublesome, but I think this 1.6 was meant to be pretty good, and the Auto bild report on them was excellent. -

Vauxhall Meriva Design 25 Apr 2006 (Forum)
Hi, Reading the car by car breakdown it says. 'Design' sacrifices some of these features for alloy wheels. Does anyone know exactly what it misses? Wife currently wants one, but there are none local to look at and compare at the minute. -

AutoAid renewal invitation..... 3 Apr 2019 (Forum)
Gone up a fiver from last year. Was £43.31 - now £48.31. Still very reasonable if you take two cars plus you and the Mrs. into account. There's always someone to answer the phone in the office (in Romford) as well as on the breakdown line and the terms and conditions aren't especially onerous and although it's many years since I used them I've no reason to think they wouldn't sort me out if the need arose. -
Ford C-MAX - Recovering costs incurred by faulty fuel filter 18 Aug 2016 (Forum)
I recently suffered a car breakdown which was subsequently identified as being caused by a faulty fuel filter fitted during an annual service a couple of weeks before. As I had no breakdown cover (I know, I know), I had to sign up with the AA on the spot in order to get towed home - not an insignificant cost. -

Electric cars 21 Dec 2021 (Forum)
Ho will car co's make money in antra of electric cars? Less moving parts = less breakdowns and wear and tear as well as less servicing time in workshops. Will cars become more expensive. It seems to me the entire motoring value chain is facing a tsunami of change as we slowly usher in an era of electrification. -
