Reading the car by car breakdown it says.
'Design' sacrifices some of these features for alloy wheels.
Does anyone know exactly what it misses? Wife currently wants one, but there are none local to look at and compare at the minute.

Early Designs didn't have aircon as standard IIRC, a strange decision given the solar protect glass etc.
I believe the new Meriva has changed all this.

New "Design" spec seems well enough equipped to me. IIRC the Design spec replaced the Elegance - pretty near top of the range.
As an aside, in the case of the Vectra SRi, Vauxhall have been quietly deleting items from the spec since launch in 02

I couldnot see what it was missing. The Specs changed from about feb this year with the Meriva facelift. I am looking at the old shape about the 55 plate.
I am in Newcastle and will travel for a deal!
