  Those who think that all American motorists have unsophisticated tastes, and aspire to a Cadillac or Lincoln when they can afford it, might be interested in a motoring article I am reading here which lists the best 10 luxury cars under $45,000(approx 25,000 pounds) this includes domestic cars. They are: BMW 3 Series Audi A4 BMW 5 Series Audi A6 Infiniti G35 Coupe MB CLK BMW Z4 Saab 9-5 Wagon(Estate) VW Touareg Infiniti FX45 The Infiniti is to Nissan what Lexus is to Toyota. At this price the models are the top of the range often with 4WD.

  Help! I?ve been losing excessive coolant from the system of my 1997 Audi A4 Tdi. It started as a small amount about 6weeks ago so I?ve had it in to the main dealer, they say it passed a pressure test and chemical test, but changed the expansion tank and cap, as they thought the seal could have been dodgy.

  Just got a 98 Audi A4 tdi, but am finding the accelerator pedal a bit light - ie it's making my ankle sore holding it midway! Is it possible to fit some sort of tensioner to make it stiffer - and is this a DIY or expensive dealer job?

  Please advise. I've tried to make it as brief as possible. Please read. Bought 2003 Audi A3 FSi Sport September 2011. December 2011 head gasket went, engine overheated and boiled dry. Local garage repaired for £1600 (cylinder head was sent away for pressure testing and skimming). Took car back many many times due to engine sounding like a tractor (one of the rings had split in the variable valve), never starts first time, oil leaks and water leaks.
