  • Peugeot 306 Meridian HDi Estate (2001) - Intermittant loss of power 19 Jan 2013 (Forum)
Ive had it happen when pulling away in 1st and all the way through to 4th at varying speeds although the RPM is always around 2500-3000. Anyone have an idea what is up? On an unrelated note, is there any reason why my brake pedal would have dropped, its constantly activating the light switch, to turn it off i have to lift the pedal - this is not activating the brakes though.   I feel my car is just about to die and I'm going to have to get a new one soon :(   Thanks

  • Accord Diesel Problem 4 Sep 2012 (Forum)
There were a couple of problems, and I wonder if anyone else has experienced these. The fuse - 20 amps - which protects the horn and brake lights blew a couple of times. I don't know when this occurred as I only discovered it when I went to blow the horn and it failed to work. This happened twice, and it may have been due to having to use the brakes frequently when in traffic jams.

  • Nissan Primera 2.2TD P12 - ABS and Engine lights on 31 May 2012 (Forum)
Unfortunately now, I am not sure I will get it through to the weekend as there is also an engine fault code and it is losing power and I am having to restart the engine to get going again. The only way I can describe it is as though I am braking but I am not. Though it feels like more of a cut out than actual braking. When this happens, the speed drops to about 40 max and then gradually fades out to nothing until I am able to stop and turn off the ignition then start up again.
  • Mitsubishi Colt - Insurance rip-off?? 23 Jan 2012 (Forum)
She recently had a very low speed shunt, she went into the back of a car which initially moved out of a superkarket car parked, then braked suddenly, she braked but unfortunately caught the back of the other car. There was no visible damage to the cars but details were exchanged. A couple of days later she had a call from the other driver saying his car was damaged, she advised him to contact her insurer, Tesco.
