Can I get winter tyres to fit my Skoda Octavia vRS' 18-inch alloy wheels?

My Skoda Octavia vRS has 18-inch alloys with the usual low profile tyres. Can I get winter tyres that would fit the existing alloys? Where is the best place to find winter tyres? Should I just look at a cheap 4X4?

If smaller wheels will fit around the brakes, I'd go for 16-inch or 17-inch for the winters.
