  I have recently noticed a recovery vehicle parking at night with what is obviously a car on its way to the scrap yard on the back. It is the type of truck where the vehicle on tow has its front wheels suspended in a cradle and its rear wheels on the road. I realise that these old cars need to be transported to the scrap yard but is it legal to park them in the street overnight?

    I have searched for an answer but cannot find anything I have a 308 SW which has always had a tow bar fitted, which I've never used.  I'm now thinking it maybe good to use it for a bike rack, however I cannot find an electric harness for it.  Is it possible the car has a tow bar without the option of electrics?

  Hello,    i Recently aquired a 2005 fiat croma which has turned out to be quite a good car after a few niggles at first.    My dad would like to use the car to tow his trailer occassionaly as he does not want to put a tow bar onto his newest car. He has offered to pay for one to be fitted to my car, however i was wondering about the electric system on the car.

  Bat starter all okay cranks over no problem, just seems that a stop is on the pump no white smoke, not fireing at all, jump start does not help, checked all connections and relays okay. Towe van 30 feet and starts, runs fine stop it and have to towe it again, hot or cold, have found a black plastic coil and circut around ign. switch wonder if there is a way to test?  or by pass,?
