• Mazda 2 - Lambda reading at MOT 26 Feb 2016 (Forum)
  My 60 registration Mazda 2 with 44,500 miles passed this morning with no advisories, but I noted increases in 3 readings in particular, from the          Fast Idle section: CO 0.12%     (2015: 0.02%) HC 42ppm     (2015: 27ppm) Lambda 1.03 (2015: 1.00)   Do these changes suggest anything significant?

  Hi guys im after a car under £4000, need something economical(diesel) and nothing above 1.6. I was looking at Ford Focus 1.6 2005 onwards and Mazda 1.6 TS2. whats your opinion on these 2 in terms of reliability, depreciation, faults etc.   Thanks alot

  Hi, Having put up with a troublesome Skoda Fabia I am tempted to look at a Mazda 323 1.5LXI advertised locally. Is there anything specific I should look out for and when should the cam belt be changed and is it expensive Cheers Alan
• Mazda 2 alarm problem 29 Apr 2007 (Forum)
  My daughter has a Mazda 2 .When she tried to start it today it showed a warning light which the handbook says needs to be reset by the workshop and represents a key fault. The car did not turn over. Is there anyway around this re coding..Could it be that the battery is going flat and did not keep the coding memory?

  When I start up my mazda 6 (TS2 54 reg), and particularly turning the wheel in the early stages of driving, it makes a whining sound as if the power steering pump is labouring seriously, particularly when manoeuvering out of parking spaces.

  My car Mazda 6 Diesel,has an intermitant fault which causes it to keep stalling it is as if it can not find its idle speed and sometimes it sounds very rough for a few minutes like its with incorrect timeing then after a while it runs ok again until the next time. anyone had a simular fault.

  Anyone have a rear left side interior rattle in a Mazda 2. I'm usually pretty good at pinpointing rattles and getting rid of them but this one has me beaten. Also seems to be worse when car turns left. Any help would be much appreciated
• MAZDA 323F 4 Jan 2005 (Forum)
  Anyone had trouble getting a Mazda 323F insured? There is apparently an omission on the insurace companies data base which precludes a 2001 '323F' - a '323' is quoted . What should I do apart from go along with their nomenclature? Car and registration document book clearly state 323F. -- I wasna fu but just had plenty.

  I am currently leasing a Mazda MX3 Auto. The lease ends in July and the company have offered the vehicle to me for £8200. It is an S- Reg and has just over 31,000 miles on the clock - I have had it from new and it has been serviced on a regular basis.

  This posting relates to an ongoing piston-slap issue on a Mazda-3 Katano (1,600cc petrol), which we bought new from {deleted - no naming/shaiming please} at the end of October 2006. While I am sure there are many satisfied Mazda-3 owners, I?m looking for specific feed-back from any owners who have (or have had) similar problems/noise with their Mazda-3.

  The hard roof is up and lactched, but the alarm is constantly going off.  My local Mazda dealership have had my car for 9 days in total now.  At no point have they contacted me, I have to keep chasing them.  Apparently they have been backwards and forwards to Mazda via email, which they will not show me.

    18-6-2014:  Stress cracks across the windscreens are becoming increasingly common because the edges of the glass are exposed at the screen pillars where they are vulnerable to stone chips. These then turn into cracks right across the screen, same as on a Mazda 5. 3-9-2014:  June 2014 Mazda CX-5 plagued with persistent electrical gremlins that the dealer has been unable to rectify.

  I ran it in as per Honest john advice My old corolla diesel seemed to improve with age economywise, is it worth chatting to mazda or is this real life figure par for the course ? Cheers

  Have you had any further incidents of this, similar to what you reported at the start of Feb, like a loss of power? Reason I ask is, just had a "stutter"...

  I'm in need of 2 new tyres for my Mazda MPV. Those which were supplied with the car are Bridgestone Turanza ER30 size 215/60/R16/95H and the rear set are fine but the front pair are past their best now. The best quote I've had so far for that size is just over £100 each (fully inc.)

  hi all, helping a mate buy a family car tomoz he's seen a W reg 626 2.0 in a local garage for 2495. i managed to get the price down to 1800 for reddies. we've also seen an R reg honda civic 1.4i, thats got 30k less than the mazda but from 2295 i've only got him down to 2150. it is a tidy motor. can any one tell me the cambelt change interval on the mazda please. im reckoning on 60k/5years. which motor would you go for?

  Hello all Honest John Forum fans! I’m the proud owner of a 2015 Mazda 3, which so far seems a solid car. I like it very much. The only thing I’ve noticed is that it feels happiest cruising at 70mph – it doesn’t seem to settle as well at 50–60mph on motorways.

  I purchased a CX5 in July 2018 with 103k on the clock. 3 months later, following a recall, I was told that the turbo had gone. Mazda paid 80% of the cost, and my warranty the other 20%. Phew as the total was £4000. On a recall 4 weeks ago the same Mazda dealership told me that a cooland leak has resulted in damaging the cylinder head and will cost around £1500 to fix.

  Hi there guys, just a quick one! I have recently purchased a Mazda 2 Takuya 2010, I have noticed that it has a Bluetooth system, I have researched that it is a Parrot System that came as standard, however mine is missing the Parrot device itself, I have the microphone, the radio controls on the steering and the Bluetooth connection itself, plus the cables connected in the glovebox.
