  1966 Le Mans Ford GT40 for sale 19 Jun 2018 (News)
  Ford Advanced Vehicles dispatched P/1016 on 11 September, 1965. Finished in the company’s 1965 colours of white with a matte black bonnet, the car was sent to Sebring International Raceway before lining up at The Daytona 24 Hour Continental on 5-6 February, 1966. There, the car was driven by Bucknum – this time paired with Grand Prix racer Richie Ginther – as the race length was increased to 24 hours – at Ford’s request – in anticipation of Le Mans later that year.

  Customised Maserati Quattroporte Series One for sale 23 May 2017 (News)
  This Maserati, one of only 50 left of the 250 first-series cars was restored in 2012/2013. Normally the engine capacity would have been 4200cc, but this car has the first 4700cc featured in the first series. The name Iniezione came from the original Lucas Injection system, but in 1966 Dr Wax asked it to be replaced by carburettors (this can be reversed since the injection parts are still available).

  Rare 1960s Costin-Nathan race car heads to auction 1 Jun 2016 (News)
  Former race-driver, John Markey, who runs the H&H Classics Hindhead Surrey operation, says it is an amazing restoration project and a true 'barn find' that had been slumbering in the late owner’s garage for the past 45 years. Markey said, ‘This is quite a special car. It is the original Works Prototype as driven with success by Roger himself in 1966. I’m probably dewy eyed having raced one quite extensively in the 60’s. From a personal angle, the car as an Imp engined GT was a delight to drive, very quick in its class with neutral handling.’ A collaboration between engineer and aerodynamicist Frank Costin and gifted racer and tuner Roger Nathan, work on the Costin-Nathan project began in 1965 with the prototype making its debut at the following January’s Racing Car Show.

  British touring car legends on the grid for Silverstone Classic 16 Jun 2015 (News)
  Two British touring car legends will be on the grid for this year’s Silverstone Classic. Matt Neal and Gordon Shedden are teaming up in a bid to take glory at the event, which takes place 24-26 July. The dynamic duo ­– who between them have racked up four BTCC titles – shared a Lotus Cortina at last year’s event. They raced in the popular Saturday morning showdown for pre-1966, Under 2.0-Litre Touring Cars (U2TC).

  Rover Metro Scout concept makes £3600 at auction 11 Jun 2015 (News)
  A Rover Metro Scout concept car that was on display until recently at the Stondon Motor Museum has sold for j£3600 at auction. The car, which was part of Brightwells second Stondon collection sale, went under the hammer at Leominster, Herefordshire, on Wednesday, 10 June.
