    I have tried online valuation sites which give an estimate of its £4k, but it has been sitting for three months, needs a thorough clean, has some damage to the front wheel arch where it hit a fence. and the battery is dead so not expecting the full amount... i  I took some photos today, thinking I could upload them to the Motorway website when I got home , but later realised their process requires using the app in real-time.

  Motor is whirring like it's trying to open the boot but only moves slightly up a cm or 2, but it will lock fine. I haven't dared try the roof so far. I have disconnected the battery for a bit, and cheked battery voltage which is alright . Is it the motor or has the wd40 damaged anything? Not sure what I may have done wrong or what the issue is now. Bit of a long one apologies.

    I know the wires are messy - I was planning to solder them once I had it working properly.   The battery and fuse box are in the boot of my car.   - The power cable goes directly to the positive terminal of the battery. - Ground wire to a bolt on the chassis. - I used a fuse piggyback thingy to connect the remote wire to the fuse for the 12v sockets.

  Fortuantely our neighbour came round and decided the best course of action would be to disconnect the battery. They managed to open the door and pull the bonnet release. The car was full of smoke with the source of the fire being under the dash on the passenger side. They got the battery out and the fire died.
