  Ever since they came out I have loved the look of the Audi TT and have always dreamed of getting one, lack of a driving licence and the price tag was always off putting, but I'm trying to put that right I'm in the army and due to start driver training in January, shortly after I am due promotion (at which point I'll be on about £20k, _after_ tax and outgoings for food and rent) so maybe there is a chance I could afford one In January I'll be 24 and only 7 months off my 25th birthday (when my car insurance should drop?)

  Hello all, My wife Audi A4 1.9tdi (90BHP) seems to have an intermitten problem which I have now felt for myself. I have only experienced it in 4th and 5th. Situation 1: driving in 5th gear, engine underload (motorway slip road) accelerating.....the car got to 70MPH @ approx 2500rpm, then just lost all it's power.......changed to 4th...no power, changed to 3rd..no power, allow the car to slow down, back off the accel pedal, then she drives fine.

  Run out the petrol in the tank and fill up with clean fuel ? or do i replaced the fuel filter ? Replace the injectors ? Take it to Audi, tell them what i've done ... then sit there while they laugh ... "Not supposed to put that in this type of car mr!!"   Hi We have recently bought a '96 Audi A4 Avant which is suffering from water leaking into the cabin. The rear seat behind the driver's seat is getting soaked, and the carpet in this area seems to be getting damp too. Have also found some damp on the front passenger seat.

  Insurance is quite reasonable on these two cars considering I am 27 and my wife 23 (£540 - 850 fully comp). I have recently been out in a German colleagues Audi RS4 Avant which is now pushing out 470bhp (std 380bhp) and I was hooked. I have also noticed that you can buy a 3-4 year old BMW M5 for arounf £25,000 with reasonable mileage, which also sounds a decent price.

  All but 1 of the glow plugs are the original factory fitted items so I am considering getting all 6 renewed to try and improve starting. However, my local (non-franchise) VW/Audi specialist is not particularly keen to replace the glow plugs on this engine as they have had several instances where they have snapped while trying to remove them, which then becomes a major job to drill out the plug.

  The trader is currently driving the car around and aparrently all electrics etc. work fine. It has a full Audi service history with receipts and has the Audi warranty has been re-instated. I am very keen to get an A6 Avant and am sorely tempted by this, but potentially what damage has the water done to the car in the short and long term?

  A safe distance between me and the moving car is now as nothing bearing down on the stopped  car. I had an Audi in the process of overtaking me, Just managed to avoid the stationary car and accelerated to avoid the Audi too. No hard shoulder for the stationary car to take refuge in. I guess the guy behind had to do the same as me and that no one else hit that car.
