  Hi All My BMW x1 tyres I need one new one soon its its close to the ware bar, 2 others will last a little bit longer and the last one is pretty new plenty of tread as I had to replace it due to a hole too big to repair.

  The head unit in my BMW turns itself off and back on again every now and then.  It can go weeks without an issue, and then other times it can swtich itself off several times in a day. I've been led to believe that a software update by BMW would be the best possible option.

  Hi, I am looking to purchase either of the used 2015 BMW's above however the GT being a 335D has 15k and the tourer has 9k miles. Both have lots of extras and are M Sport plus. I am trying to weigh up which is the best deal as the GT is £2k more than the tourer?

  I have a 1998 BMW E39 535i sitting in my driveway. I thought it might become a classic someday, but I'm starting to get complaints from the wife that it's taking up driveway space -so it's time to move it on as I have a regular car for daily use.

  I searched around and narrowed it dow to two options. Car should be able to accomodate 4 adults.    1. BMW 5 series Auto Diesel - 100k miles - 8'500 2- Golf 2010/11 Auto Diesel - 69k miles   - 10'000   Can you guys suggest which one I should go for.    Or as one my frind did, he bought 2002/3 E Series, roughly 130k for 4k   Thanks

  Hi all, is it possible to upgrade my BMW 1 Series trim from the basic to the M SPORT trim? At present it does not have the arm rest and has the basic radio system installed. Is it possible to bring it to a garage and get it upgraded to the M SPort trim which includes the arm rest and also upgrade my radio system too?

  I am looking/was looking at purchasing a BMW 1 Series 118d. The car was registered October 2009. I'm very concerned to be reading about timing chain failures on this engine. I believe the crank was changed from 01/09 so the car i'm looking at should have this new crank fitted from the factory.

  Ladies and Gents, A chap in North London (Edgware) has had his pride and joy nicked, by house burglars entering his house and stealing his keys. The car is an Estoril Blue BMW Z3M, reg no: 'W702SKJ'. The owner is concerned (probably correctly) that it will be broken down into parts, but some of those parts ought to be well recognisable if offered for sale on the various sites.

  Can anyone give me advice? I am on the second set of BMW wiper blades for an E92 coupe, and I replaced the first set after 12,000 miles. The windscreen appears to be permanently marked, right across the driver's field of vision, probably following a piece of grit caught on the blade.

  After replacing turbo, ECU needs to be reprogrammed. Also instances of injector failure. BMW says that only EU3 320d engines built before October 2003 are affected by the turbo problem". Other BM forums seems to support this. The car's done 69k miles, with full BMW SH, and seems in good condition with no funny noises.

  Do you think that BMW will modify the 1000's of cars that do not meet the EuroNCAP level of safety? It is interesting to note that the 1 series also needed a retest, but the result is better than the 5.

  I am trying to negotiate up the price of a trade-in BMW 318iSE E46 model which has done 78000 miles and today the salesman set his line in the sand price by saying that "he could only go £50 higher because of its high mileage, according to the mechanics, it will need a major service soon and a head change as it is well known than BMWs have porous heads".

  I was told by the recovery driver that this is an enormous job for bmw and it will most likely be written off. Does that sound right? He said the entire main loom would need rewiring.

  Took my BMW 3 series for its first service and for some reason let the dealer wash my car. big big mistake now its covered in scratches -swirls  they have booked it onto BMW bodyshop to sort out, I wondered what they will actually do , just polish it out or give it a proper paint correction with wash ,iron x , polish  anybody else had they same issues
