  The instrument panel lights on my 95 Audi 80 has packed in. I've replaced all the bulbs behind the panel and checked the fuses without success. Any ideas?

  I am babysitting my son-in-laws Audi 80 K reg while he is in Afgan. Takes ages to fill up at pump sometimes pump will time out it takes that long. Also fuel gauge is not reliable any suggestions welcome as he is home on leave soon

  My 2002 Audi A4 air conditioning is stuck on the economy setting and as such it will not cool as well at it used to. I have had it recharged and this made some differenbce to its cooling ability, but is still not as good as it should be.

  My catalytic convertor needs replacing due to mechanical failure after only 4.5 years, Audi want £600 to do this. I have found a pattern one on the internet for £78 but am unsure of the quality, has anyone any experience of pattern cats and any recommendations? Thanks Andy

  Anyone recommend a good one. My relationship with my Audi gets worse. Just got her back after a tonne of auto-box hassle and now one of the cats has gone. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH Can't wait to sell it but need to fix the cat at lowest poss price.

  Looking around some leasing sites I have noticed that a new Audi A6 2.0 Tdi is available for lease for less than the equivalent A4. I was recently looking at either a BMW 520d or an A6 2.0 Tdi and now I'm wondering is there something wrong with the new A6?

  The 2001 Audi A4 is a clever car it tells on the display(spanner icon) the time/miles to its next service. But how does it know when oil, filters, brake fluid etc., have been changed? And what does it mean when the display shows 'dashes' for time and miles not any figures?

  I'm looking to upgrade my Audi Allroad and as far as I'm aware there won't be a new version of the Allroad based on the new A6 Avant. Could anyone confirm that this is the case? And if so, does anyone know the latest date at which you'd be able to order one of the last Allroads?

  Hi, where do you set the camber on 91 audi 80 non quattro? There is a good deal of play in the hub carrier to strut mounting bolts when loosened, do you just tighten in the "middle" of the play and adjust camber using the slotted bolts at the balljoint?

  My seldom used Audi A4 1.6 (1995 68000 miles) has developed a tickover akin to a London bus when warm - fine when cold! Also the back footwell has filled with water for no apparent reason. Any thoughts appreciated.

  Hi all, So I narrowed my choice to four SUV’s and have test driven them over the last few days. Audi Q5, BMW X3, Volvo XC60 and Subaru Forester as my left field choice (I owned one back in 2012 and really liked it) Out of the ‘premium’ ones the Audi Q5 would be my choice. So now I’m stuck between Audi Q5 and Subaru Forester - I like both of them!

  We’ve just got rid of an Alfa Giulia that we only had for 8 months and was no end of trouble! Traded it in against a 2018 Audi A3 1.5 TFSi S-line (manual) with 26k miles on the clock. Only had it a couple of days and it’s already concerning me… The clutch biting point is REALLY high, the pedal is almost fully up before it bites.

  Having covered a 1000 miles since, today whilst driving along I heard a loud metallic sound from the car (It almost sounded like something was hanging down from the car and scraping along the floor). Having checked nothing is, the car went to the local audi dealer who could find no fault. This noise lasted for about 300 metres and then dissapeared. Any ideas what it could have been?. One suggestion i've had was that a stone had got between the pads / discs or the plate that was meant to be stopping this from happening was touching the discs.

  For the past 6 months, my audi a4 has been ticking and rattling.  I've taken it to two different repair shops and neither of them can figure out where it's coming from.  They both tell me to turn up the radio if it bothers me which is not acceptable.

  I have been spoilt by my beautiful 3 door toyota rav4 which i was forced to sell. Due to personal reasons, my budget dropped considerably. Should i buy an Audi A2 1.4 petrol (2000-2001) with 120k-145k which I could get for £1300-£1500? I love the car and my low budget may not get me one with less than 100k. I do less than 5k miles per year, and cannot afford to fix anything for probably another 6 months, so i need to get through the winter at least!

  Have just bought an Audi Allroad. Really happy with the car but took it in for an Audi inspection and it turns out the brake discs are 70% worn at the front and 90% worn at the back so I need a new set of pads and discs. Audi have quoted me something like £1000 which seems very steep.

  Unfortunately they have experienced engine failure fortunately close to the Audi garage who said they should not drive it and lent them an 08 2k A4 Avant tdi. Repair will cost 3k- as much as the car is worth. The Audi garage, which also deals in VWs, have offered the 08 for 19k keeping the old car.

  Now then guys, its been a while. Back in july i treated myself to a 2004 Audi A3 TDI Sport for my 70 mile commute to and from work everday... Mileage is now just over 50k and before it gets stupidly high i want a change... Leading to my next choice, a facelifted version of the A4 2.0 TDI S-Line!

  I've just got a Audi A4 2.0 tdi 170 bhp when i reverse with left hand turn or turn left say onto my drive i get a annoying grunting noise which seems to come from my steering wheel my car is a 56 plate and my audi garage tells me this is a fault with the a4s and audi are looking for a fix true or false?

  If I attempt a hill start with the box in drive I need to keep my foot on the brake to stop the vehicle rolling backwards. ie the gearbox wil not hold the car.Again there is a delay whilst drive engages-even though it is already in drive! Audi tell me this is normal and that I need to adjust my driving style. This auto behaves like no other auto box I have used and is very difficult to drive. Are Audi correct in their view or does the box have a fault and if so does anyone have any suggestions to help Audi sort the problem.
