Citroen C4 Picasso 2013+ - Citroen C4 Picasso 2013+ pros and cons 1 May 2015 (Forum)
This car will depreciate by thousands after the first year, and then flatten out, so it’s probably better to buy a year-old car with some of the warrantee left over, and a wedge cushion. I have mixed feelings about this car. -

Honda Jazz - Help buying first car 9 Sep 2022 (Forum)
Following a divorce I need to purchase a car for the first time. I've only ever been a named driver on my ex's car, he took care of all those sides of things so I'm feeling very clueless and vulnerable! I have two kids (one a rapidly growing ten year old) so was looking for five door hatchback, and I'm thinking of a Honda Jazz as I know they have a reputation as being reliable. -

Skoda Superb - number of owners legality 27 Aug 2014 (Forum)
The car was supplied to me with a damaged wheel bearing noisy at motor way speed as well as a buckled wheel and the tyres listed on the pdi inspection did not all match what were actually on the car. All pretty shocking I believe, all the more so as the car was purchased to transport my 8 day old baby. -

Medium size car with flat back entry???? 18 Oct 2010 (Forum)
My Mom drives a small scooter which I currently get into the back of my Fiat Marea up a small ramp - very easy because it has a drop back and flat entry so I just drive the scooter into the back (riderless - i.e. I drive it from the side of the scooter - hope this makes sence). This car is nearly 9 years old and becoming unreliable as it gets very little use - I want to trade this and my 9 year old Fiat Punto as well - so 2 cars will become one (I cant afford 2 cars anymore!) We are both looking for small or medium sized estates or hatchbacks with flat entry into the boot - Can anyone help with makes/models that have this? -

Goodwill from Ford? 12 Oct 2006 (Forum)
Ford aren't the slightest bit interested in goodwill, the car is now several months out of warranty and another £400 bill looms. The dealer has to order stock, can't get the old system off due to broken bolts (this is a 3 year old 30k mls car). Much sucking of air through teeth, the dealer says that Ford won't entertain a claim. -
Gardens...going....going.....gone? 6 Sep 2005 (Forum)
With most of my neighbours having two or three cars, parking was becoming a nightmare. So, we had the old crazy pave job done to get two cars on drive and one out front. Made an effort at greenery by having a curved bed with green stuff in it and a couple of evergreen tree things. -
Cars which don't attract prejudice 30 Nov 2003 (Forum)
Alternatively a Mk1 Golf GTi could maybe swing it if it was completely standard and in a dark colour, but that's a bit old for reliable driving and modern service intervals. One friend eventually went for a Renault Safranne because it isn't "aspirational", wasn't expensive as a 2 year old car and most people wouldn't remember what it was. -
Bit of a discussion 5 Mar 2003 (Forum)
interestingly, but just coincidence another life was lost in the north east on that same saturday evening, the only similarity was the cars involved. they both drove vauxhall caviliers. no i know these are very old cars and safety wasn't even an issue those days, but even my 406 gets a 44% ncap test result, which just doesn't make me "feel" safe.
