  Astra 1.7 diesel estate nonturbo. 1993 merit model. air bubbles visible in fuel pipe from filter to pump with engine running. fuel draws back to tank when engine switched off and left standing.able to start engine by sucking fuel through pipe and reconnecting to pump if enough fuel in pipe.

  My son's 1.4 Saxo Furio has developed a fuel leak from the connection of the fuel line to the injector rail. Is it easy to remove & replace the pipe and or the connector or does the fuel system have to be depressurised? Thanks Bri

  Please can anyone fill me in on how to adjust the fuel mixture on a 1990 2.0 (fuel injection) Audi 80? It's running rich - heavy fuel smell, rough idling when warmed up, exhaust smoke etc. Thanks in advance.

  Hello The fuel guage on my Megane has suddenly decided to read empty even though there is plenty of fuel in the tank. My question is has anyone had any luck fixing the sender part of the fuel pump. Any ideas would be great.

  At my local supermarket, I think the tanker that delivers the fuel is a BP tanker. Does this mean the fuel is BP or is this just a delvery vehicle? What I know for sure is that 20 or so years ago there were about 12 garages where you could get fuel locally, now there are 2!

  Friend of mine has started selling fuel efficiency magnets which are placed around the fuel pipe and supposedly improve fuel consumption and possibly performance. Have any BRers tried or run with these fitted? And if so what were the results?

  I've received one of those 'did you know' emails that crop up from time to time. It reckons that the fuel pump symbol on the fuel gauge shows which side of the car the fuel filler is on depending on which side the nozzle is depicted. This is supposed to be for new drivers and hire car users convenience when entering fuel stations.

  I have a Grandis 2.0 DiD - I loose power every so often and with this there is a jerking motion as if it is starving of Fuel. Someone mentioned it was a dirty fuel filter. Does anyone know if this is the case and if so where is the fuel filter located so that I can take a look to see if it is clean or not

  anyone had the same problem no fuel getting through from pump all relays seem ok if you pour some fuel into ports starts no problem does not seem to want to pump fuel through itself any ideas would be welcomed bill

  i recently purchased a 91 bmw 318is, i have been experiencing problems with the fuel system, the car runs fine cold but it wont idle, once it warms up it doesnt want to take fuel, it seems to be holding around 15 to 20 ponds of fuel pressure, i have change dthe filter, does anyone know how much fuel pressure it is suppossed to have?

  I am currently having problems with the fuel feed on my vehicle. After the vehicle has been stood overnight, and occasionally for shorter periods, I am having to prime the fuel system to start the vehicle. It appears that the fuel is draining back into the fuel tank.

  I'm looking to change the fuel filter on my girlfriends Corsa 1.0 and the depressurizing of the fuel system looks a bit tricky having had a look at the Haynes manual. I did this job on my own Primera a couple of weeks ago and all I had to do was remove the fuel pump fuse and try to start the engine - this did the depressurizing.
