N/A - Cuasing an obstruciotn when parking on a drive 8 May 2012 (Forum)
My neighbours' drive is not long enough for thier two cars, so that while the cars' wheels are on their drive, the rear of the car obstructs the shared drive. This means that when I back out of my garage, I frequently have to steer sharply to the left to avoid clipping one of them. -
What did you learn to drive in? 11 Oct 2003 (Forum)
Out and about today and I bumped into (not literally) my driving instructor. Still teaching, rather greyer than before (no surprise there) and driving yet another Fiesta. Which got me thinking back - I learned to drive in MkII Fiesta's and a Landcrab 1800. Took my test in my Instructor's razor-clutched Fiesta. -
Driving while banned 24 Jun 2019 (Forum)
My partner insures a corsa that is registered to his mates girlfriend so him and his mate can use it to drive back and fore to work. My partner drives it as his mate is banned from driving but we’ve found out that on the weekends his mate is driving the car! I just wanted to check if it is the registered keeper who will get in trouble for letting him drive it and not the person who has insured the car ? -
Driving to Austria - Any Tips? 22 Jan 2006 (Forum)
Problem is, it's a looong drive! I think I underestimated the distance and time...The longest drive I've ever done is about 500Km's in the Australia outback and there were no navigational issues there! So, does anyone have any tips on driving this distance on the continent? -
Driving instructors 6 Apr 2003 (Forum)
So, what special skills did your driving instructor, or whoever taught you to drive (father, drill sergeant, etc.) try to teach you that you don't think other learners got? And does it still have an effect on your driving? -

Drive like a God 26 Nov 2004 (Forum)
Happened to be in Halfords this pm near the RipSpeed desk and noticed a poster for some kind of advanced driving course for youngsters (Max Drive I think it was). It was captioned Drive like a God. No wonder there are so many who think they are immortal... I suppose I shouldn't question the tag line of what appears to be a very worthy idea... -
02 Mondeo drive judder 5 Mar 2003 (Forum)
Hello Anyone encounter a judder from the drive, when driving off, especially when attempting a turn at same time? Sometimes there is a loud 'thud' from the drive train, under similar circumstances, which does not sound healthy. ....or is just my poor clutch control? -

Driving for pleasure 15 Sep 2002 (Forum)
Most, if not all, insurance policies include driving the car for "pleasure" (in addition to commercial and/or business and/or social and/or domestic use). Are there any drivers who actually drive for "pleasure" as a seperate activity not connected to the other categories? -
Able to drive? 24 Feb 2002 (Forum)
Are there any physical conditions, other than blindness and simple inability to handle the controls, that preclude a person,s roight to drive? For example, I have met drivers who are blind in one eye, another profoundly deaf, others with diabetes and several with angina. All of these either affect the ability to drive or constitute a risk, however small, to driving ability. -
Insurance for test drives? 13 Mar 2005 (Forum)
I could possibly do the test drive for him but obviously it would be more beneficial for him to do it himself as he will be the one driving it at the end of the day. Will he be ok to test drive without any insurance or is there some sort of procedure for this sort of thing? -

Colt Test Drive 15 Mar 2006 (Forum)
I have arranged for a test drive, on Wednesday, in a Mitsubishi Colt. I am very disappointed that my request for a 'proper' test drive was refused, so we will be limited to a max round trip of about 6 miles, on roads which will give us no opportunity of driving legally at 70 mph. -
