  Anyone else have a big problem with their Vauxhall Omega misting up in rainy weather? I find I often have to use the air con to clear it, putting the demister on usually agravates the problem. It seems that the air from the vents without the air con always smells a bit "humid" to me, would this be the pollen filter that needs replacing?

The Air con is working fine, kicks in when its switched on, nIce and cold in the car and the air smells clean as well. Not sure if its linked but when idling can hear a click every so often it dont happen all the time but this click only happens when the aircon is on.

  Have just bought this car on occasionally get a damp / fusty smell from the vents. This happens with and without the air con. I read that there should be a Pollen Filter below the dash beneath an access panel above the footwell but I cannot find it.

  I've recently bought a used car that was owned by a smoker. The interior valet seems to have got rid of most of the smell. However, when running the heating there is a lot of cigarette smell coming through.  This is without running the air con. Is there anything I can do to get rid of this? Would a change of the cabin filter help?

  Having a bit of a problem at the moment. When i start the car in the mornings there is smells quite strongly of exhaust fumes. I've had the car in at the garage for the last couple of days but they can't find evidence of any leks etc. Cleaned out the Breathers? and treated the air con - but still smells.

  It seems to be clear liquid, doesn't have a smell to it, so I don't think it's windscreen fluid. The car seems to be driving OK, doesn't seem to be running poorly. Does anyone have any ideas? Having never owned an air-con fitted car myself, It's a bit of a mystery - the wife only uses the air-con sporadically, but I follow the Ford manual which instucts running the air con for at least 30mins per month.
