  Hypothetical question coming up. Volvo recommend a 96k cambelt change, My 2.5diesel has done 86k so what would Volvo do for me if  the belt snapped before time?

  Can someone please summarise the Volvo range of cars, as the model numbers communicate very little about the size or nature of the car. Why have Volvo decided not to call their cars particular names and have just used alphanumeric characters?

  Hi Everyone I am in need of a new car and have found an 07 Volvo V50 S Diesel, with 36000 miles on the clock for just over £8000. It seems like good value but I want your opinion. Someone recently said that some Volvos are not as reliable (something to do with a ford engine or something?

  Hi all Im going to write a very long post later today on my Q5 when i have time as theres a lot to write. But i also wanted to ask for peoples opnion on the Volvo XC60? Is it a good car are Volvo's  good cars? My partner is looking at getting a new car is current is on its last legs so hes buying outright either new or second hand. But he already has is mind set on a volvo xc60 as he as always loved volvo's design and the Xc60 always catches his eye.

  The deal is old news but the finalisation is new news. What I'm thinking is that Geely is likely to continue with Volvo as a premium brand, and use Volvo's cast-off, obsolete models as the basis for budget Chinese brands.

  I noticed in my owners manual last night that Volvo do a pre-heater for the V70. I can't find any other reference to this. Can anyone point me at more info? Does anyone have a Volvo Pre-Heater? Is it a dealer fit extra? How much was it? I assume it to be a Webasto fuel burning unit with the Volvo name on it.

  I have a Volvo V70 D5 diesel automatic, 2004.  A few months ago a slight vibration used to occur between about 60 and 65 mph.  Now the vibration occurs between about 60 and 75mph. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

  My handbook advises BOT 130 oil for the manual gearbox. does anyone know what this means please as BOT 130 doesn't seem known even at Volvo dealers? Thank you in advance for any reply.
