Peugeot 208 (2012 - 2019) (Reviews)
Goodness, is that the time? It’s eight years since Peugeot launched the 208, replacing the lacklustre and dated 207. It still looks fresh today, helped in no small part by a facelift in 2015. It might not be as popular as the Ford Fiesta or Vauxhall Corsa, but there’s a lot to like about the Peugeot 208. -
Peugeot 508 (2011 - 2018) (Reviews)
Look beyond the lion, though, and you’ll find a car that’s great to drive, cheap to run and surprisingly upmarket. The Peugeot 508 was a return to form for the French company. After years of dull and lacklustre family cars, the 508 was the first sign that Peugeot had rediscovered its mojo. It’s almost as though someone at Peugeot had done their homework. -
Peugeot iOn (2010 - 2018) (Reviews)
Instead of selling its version of the Mitsubishi i-MIEV, Peugeot is offering it on a £415pm 4 year all inclusive lease only. This sounds dear until you add the cost of the fuel: just £210 for £10,000 miles compared to around £1700 for a conventional car doing 30mpg. -
Peugeot RCZ (2010 - 2015) (Reviews)
Every once in a while, a car maker will blindside us with a car that we just didn’t expect and the Peugeot RCZ is a great example of this. Launched in 2010 at a time when the French firm’s line-up was, at best, okay, the RCZ was a glimpse of what Peugeot’s designers could do when given a much freer rein than usual. -
Peugeot 3008 (2009 - 2016) (Reviews)
If you're looking for the newer version, you need our Peugeot 3008 review . If you’re after a cheap, practical, flexible and efficient family crossover, the Peugeot 3008 should be on your shortlist. The Peugeot 3008 was one of the first cars to capitalise on the demand for SUV-style crossovers, arriving soon after the sector-defining Nissan Qashqai. -
Peugeot 5008 (2009 - 2017) (Reviews)
If you're looking for the newer model, you'll need our Peugeot 5008 review . The first generation of Peugeot 5008 was very much a family-friendly affair, with practicality taking precedence over excitement and style. The 5008 might have become more of an SUV in recent times, but this version is most definitely a seven-seat MPV, competing with the likes of the Citroen C4 Grand Picasso and Ford S-MAX. -
Peugeot 308 (2007 - 2013) (Reviews)
Five-star crash test rating. Excellent THP 150 petrol engine and fine handling. HDi 90 120g/km. 98g/km e-HDi from Summer 2011. -
Peugeot 4007 (2007 - 2012) (Reviews)
Terrific 2.2 diesel engine, excellent handling and decent off-road ability. Well equipped. -
Peugeot 207 (2006 - 2012) (Reviews)
The 207 has a big job to do. It has to follow Peugeot's best selling cars ever: the 206 and the 205. It has to be loved. Being bigger than a 206 (actually the same size as the old 306), it has to sell for more money. And it has to win hearts and minds of buyers who might otherwise have plumped for the new Clio. -
Peugeot 1007 (2005 - 2008) (Reviews)
The 1007 was a brave and risky gamble for Peugeot. It was an original, intended to set a trend rather than follow one. The first small car in Europe designed around a pair of electric sliding doors. It caused sensations at Motor Shows a couple of years ago when it was displayed as the ‘Sesame' concept car. -
Peugeot 107 (2005 - 2014) (Reviews)
It's well built and stylish inside with a good quality finish and a neat layout. Passenger space is decent too, considering the little Peugeot is less than 3.5 metres long and even taller drivers won't feel cramped. As city cars go, the 107 is pretty much the perfect package. -
Peugeot 407 (2004 - 2011) (Reviews)
Peugeot is very keen to impress on the press that the 407 is a working car. 70% of 407s will sell to fleets. 75% will be diesels. The company knows a 407 can never meet aspirations fulfilled by a 3 Series or a C Class. -
Peugeot 206 (1998 - 2006) (Reviews)
Not bad looking. Economical 1.4 diesel gets under 119g/km. -
Peugeot E-208 GTi (2025 on) (Reviews)
Red accents dominated the Peugeot 205 GTI 40 years ago and they do so again here, with scarlet highlights around the E-208 GTi’s grille and Peugeot logos, within the headlights, crowning the wheelarches, enveloping the front brake callipers and underlining the rear spoiler. -
Peugeot E-308 SW (2023 on) (Reviews)
Your only motor option produces all of 156PS. At its 2023 launch the Peugeot E-308 SW was priced at a hefty premium over its Peugeot 308 SW petrol- and diesel-powered counterparts, but the prices have come down since then, before being cut further when the facelifted models went on sale. -
Peugeot 508 SW (2018 - 2025) (Reviews)
But it’s a good one, with an excellent interior and plenty of room for the family. The Peugeot 508 SW is a good looking estate that aims to compete with premium rivals, but doesn’t quite make that leap. The Peugeot 508 SW is the estate version of the sharply styled Peugeot 508 saloon. -
Peugeot 308 SW (2014 - 2021) (Reviews)
With such a good base to work from, the Peugeot 308 SW had every chance of being an excellent estate car from the outset - and it doesn’t disappoint. The well-made cabin and impressive refinement of the hatchback remain, but with one of the more spacious and practical rear load areas offered on a family-sized estate car. -
Peugeot 208 GTI (2013 - 2019) (Reviews)
Peugeot has a Jekyll and Hyde reputation when it comes to building hot hatchbacks. Inspired by the brilliance of the 205 GTi, Peugeot ploughed significant resources into its hot hatch programme, but the resulting 206 GTi and 207 GTi left many feeling cold, with underpowered engines and stodgy handling. -
Peugeot 308 CC (2009 - 2015) (Reviews)
They should have issued the Peugeot 308CC with a Bank Holiday weather warning. Filming day dawned with drizzle. But the local forecast said there might be a few sunny spells by late afternoon. So we postponed the start. -
Peugeot 308 SW (2008 - 2013) (Reviews)
The outgoing 307 SW wasn't bad, combining a great chassis with 7-seater capability. But the Peugeot designers in Paris have looked at every way they could improve it. And I'm pleased to say they have, not least in offering it with a sweet, flexible 150PS turbo petrol engine and all-new 6-speed box that gives it the capability of around 38 mpg.
