Royal Maserati returns home before auction 5 Mar 2015 (News)
A 1967 Maserati Quattroporte that belonged to Princess Aly Khan has gone back to its original home at Eaton Square in London before being auctioned by Coys on 10 March. The Quattroporte was ordered by French importer ‘Agence Maserati’ and delivered to His Highness Prince Karim Aga Khan in Paris on 4 January, 1968. -

Donington Historic details unveiled 1 Apr 2014 (News)
Sunday will see the first parts of the Festival’s two feature races – the Motor Sport 90th Anniversary Trophy for pre-War Sports Cars, likely to feature Bentley, Bugatti, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Frazer Nash, BMW, Vauxhall, Riley, MG and Talbot. It will be followed by the Maserati Centenary Trophy, showcasing cars from the 1930s to the 1960s powered by engines built by Maserati or OSCA. Full - though provisional - timetable is below. Goodwood announces strong line-up for supercar run 12 Jun 2012 (News)
Cars set to make their world and/or UK dynamic debuts will include the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Vitesse, Infiniti EMERG-e, Bentley Continental GT Speed, Maserati GranTurismo Sport, and many others. A number of UK debuts will also take place in the First Glance class at Goodwood, with brand new models located on the Cricket Pitch, and expected to include the new Toyota GT-86, Savage Rivale, Vauxhall Astra VXR and Infiniti FX Vettel (Sebastian Vettel himself on Saturday 30 June). -

A 1970 Jaguar E-type will be competing for bids with a 2008 Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe, while other stunners include a 2008 Aston Martin DBS, a 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder and a 2007 Maserati Quattroporte. It could, however, easily be returned to standard road specification. Another rarity is the 1998 RHD Maserati Ghibli GT (£9750-£10,750). Maserati only ever built 212 of the GT versions, and the UK would have seen a mere handful of RHD examples. This is one of the last registered. Finally, the sale also includes a 1951 AC 2 litre Sports Saloon (£5000-7000), and a 1953 Jaguar XK120 which is ready for restoration (£28,000-34,000). -

Ford's Coupe and Cabiolet display served up some unusual items, such as an odd hump-backed Fiesta, while Maserati's centenary was marked extensively - not only in the Zagato exhibition, but also with Maserati's collection, that included the 300S Birdcage, Khamsin and the new Ghibli saloon. Finally, we loved the Volvo at Speed display that served up half-a-dozen Volvo touring and rally cars - the most iconic for enthusiasts of a certain age was the 850 T5-R Estate prepared by Tom Walkinshaw for the British Touring Car Championship during the 1990s. The visitor numbers have yet to be confirmed, but the organisers, SIHA, did tell us that it looked like they were up from 2013 - which was already a record year with 190,000 attending the show. -
E-types are top sellers at British Heritage auction 19 Jun 2018 (News)
The Maserati Merak really stood out, as did the two Series 1 E-types, and it was really pleasing to sell all three.’ Modern classics offered included a low-mileage 1986 Ford Escort XR3i, which sold for £12,100. -
£1m classic super car parts ‘treasure trove’ uncovered 18 Jun 2018 (News)
The spares were discovered in a container by a specialist auction house. The find includes high-end spares from Italian marques such as Ferrari, Maserati and Abarth and plenty of parts for rarer models such as the 250 SWB, 250 GTO, 275, Competition Daytona, F40 and 512LM, along with Maserati 250F and various other Italian competition cars. Many of the parts are still in their original wooden packing cases dating from the 1960s, or in their original boxes wrapped in oiled paper. The exact location of the container has not been revealed. -
