• Lexus IS250 - Radio interference 16 Jun 2013 (Forum)
  The selling Lexus dealer suggested the fault was due to the change to DAB. Nonsense I thought at the time. Has anyone else experienced this fault? The car is still under warranty so I suppose it can be fixed at Lexus.

  I'm looking at changing my car next March and torn between the Honda Accord 2.2i Ex and Lexus IS 220D SE_L. The Lexus is about £2,000 more than the Honda, but it will probably be the last car I will buy, and aim to keep it until it drops - at least that is my present intention. I have been happy with my present Honda, that I bought new in 2004, but was wondering if the Lexus may be a better proposition.

  are bmw over engineered to much they seem to brag about ther engines and there build quality i think lexus are better cars better built and the engines are bullet proof i heard that they use mineral oil in some of there cars is vvti better than bmws valvetronic or both just as good anyone everdriven a lexus or owned one are they superb to drive

  I have a lexus is220d (2007), service and maintained from the main dealers. It has really bad lag below 2200 revs, to the extent it is difficult to drive on steep rds. It also jerks at low revs, once I accelerate over 2000 revs it drives quite normal.

  I've noticed that there is a small industrial estate with a fenced concrete area which is full of Lexus cars. These are brand new cars and still have the factory protective sheeting on them. Interesting though, that they are all fitted with registration plates - a mixture of '08 and '57 regs. They haven't moved in weeks so can't be cars that are awaiting delivery.

  Purchase new Lexus no hybrid and we will in rural area. What we were not aware of is car not rodent proof. Squirrels got in through battery and caused over £7000.00 worth of damage by eating interior. Lexus not at all interested or helpful, the dealership in Bolton and Hesd Office.
