So...DVLA on phone said to register, I must go directly to my local DVLA office (Sidcup), and take with me these things; V62 V10 V5C/2 Insurance Cert. MOT Ok, now I read the V62...and I gather I will not need this as I have (and written my details) the V5C/2 -New Keepers Supplement. Or am I wrong, and will I need to fill in a V62 and a V10? -

So the correct process now is to take the documents and money to the local post office, renew from 1 May, and send the back tax to the local DVLA office. Apparently no DVLA forms are needed. The V5 will then be retained for replacement with a V5C. -
