  I have an 52 reg Ford Fiesta LX and have recently had the car in for repairs.  As the battery has been disconnected I now need a code to reset the radio.  My serial number is M006690. Can anybody help me? Thanks

  Hi,i was driving my pug 306,1.6 petrol when suddenly car just lost power i had no lights,no c/locking.I have replaced battery,earth straps now i have lights c/locking the engine will crank but wont start.would grateful for any advice.

  I have a problem with the electronic power steering it works intermitantly, have changed the alternator, battery and steering pump but no joy, when the pump does not work it pulses like a heart beat, diagnostics came up with nothing, can anyone suggest . car is cdti 1.9 thanks

  Hi. Was having a draining battery problem. After pulling fuses and testing i found it to be the ignition switch circuit. Pulled the fuse and no more drain. Is this just a replacement ignition switch or are there other things on this circuit that might also be faulty?

  I only have one key for my Puma.  What happens when the battery dies,,,? Will I get stiffed for having the immobilisor recoded + new keys..?  The key itself does not appear to be a master (black).  I think it is the RF key that does central locking & immobilisor.

  I have just put a new clutch in a 214. when i re- connected the battery it wont start. engine turns over but won't fire. havn't got the eka code any advise much appreciated.

  the heater fan keeps going after ignition is turned off .It does turn off by the heater fan switch but if you forget to turn off switch it will keep going until the battery is drained . many thanks

  My radio code has blocked since the problems with my battery and earths etc. It won't let me enter any code and just remains with lines on the display. It states in handbook to go to dealer. Is there anyway around this? I expect Peugeot will charge me the earth to reset this.

  G'Day All, friend has a 96 Primera, recon alternator and battery fitted. Sometimes ABS "not working" light comes on then ignition "warning red light" appears at low revs (after taking foot off accelerator). One suggestion is voltage control unit faulty - any suggestions, pse?

  Had a quick lok this morning at replacing the main beam front headlamp bulb - manual suggests removing battery cover & pulling the lead out of the bulb socket - how is the lead attached the the connector - I couldn't see the usual 'push it with a screwdriver' plastic clip ... ?

  Whilst being well aware of the recommended protocols relevant to jump-starting between the donor vehicle and the vehicle with the discharged battery, is it practicable to undertake the procedure when one of the vehicles is diesel powered and the other vehicle is petrol driven. I'm sure I have read somewhere in the distant past that this should be avoided?

  Hi new to the forum can anyone help,? i recently disconected the battery and now the remote fob wont lock the doors, it was fine before and as the handbook is missing i dont know how to reprogram the fob. it is the late fob with no led and 2 buttons on it. anyone got a clue???

  Help. The near (battery) side front sidelight has gone on my son's 99 Bora. Taken off cover and there's not enough room to swing a cat in there. Didn't think I had particularly fat hands but I just can't get any purchase to loosen it.

  Hi, Have a battery charging warning light lit whilst driving, sounds like a belt slipping as well. Anybody know if the alternator belt is easy to change/adjust or is it a trip to the garage? Haven't got anyway to work from underneath other than a jack. 93 1.6i zetec if that makes a difference.
