  I have a 2008 Daihatsu Sirion 1.0 which I have been more than happy with. The warranty has now run out and I intend to do the servicing myself. As Daihatsu spares are increasingly difficult (and expensive) to obtain can anyone tell me what spares from other current cars will fit the Sirion ?

  Having problems with Focus zetec misfiring. Have changed the coil and leads, it run ok for a few days but the problem started up again. The engine management light has come back on. A neighbour had a fault code reader which came up as p2300 but its not listed in the book of codes that he has.

   Shall I drive it to my nearest dealer (6 Miles) and have the oil changed or drive normally and hope it dissipates in normal running? Early onset Alzheimers!!!!

  the glow plug light on my 1.3 cdti combo is flashing all the time it runs fine but always have been a slight bit lumpy on start up then 1 min later fine  kind regards gm

  After topping up the engine oil,(did`nt overfill) the cooling fan stays on regardless of time With the engine management light remaining on. Seems to run ok with all fluids topped up. With the phrase  "Depollution system faulty" on screen. Any ideas anyone ?

  Hi,my 206 would not start unless I spray with easy start then It runs fine.there was no fuel getting to the ignitors when I turned it over initially.would a blocked fuel Filter cause this to happen?any advice appreciated.there is power to the glow plugs and stop start solenoid.

  I wish to fit tyres of a deeper profile to inprove ride comfort and protect the wheel rims It currently runs on 215/45 R17 Can I fit 50 or 55 profile ? Would the speedometer be very inaccurate? I know I would have to advise the insurer

  Hello. Does anyone have any info on running VW's PDI diesels on diesl found outside Europe? Word is that the diesel fuel sold out here is not of the same quality. HELP!

  still got problems with my 2.0 dti using alot of fuel . i put £10 of diesel in and got 43 miles on a run have serviced it and changed vacuum pipes , could it be coolant temp sensor and thermostat or injectors , temp gauge sits at 80 - 85

  well i was wondering could you help me out i have vw bora 1.9tdi 115bhp ... sometimes when your driving along the car suddenly cuts out and wont restart for about 3 minutes then it runs fine again i was wondering could you help me out please and thank you.

  I have noticed a knocking noise from rear of my C5, mainly when breaking, but seems to be getting worse. There is a Plastic Moulding across the width of the car which runs parallel to the rear bumper, between the bumper and the Boot, which appears to be loose. Any suggestions?

  I have a peugeot 306 1.6 1995. I'm also thinking of changing the belt(s) or at least the other one that runs power steering. Just need to know how to loosen those belts, thanks!

  Hi Guys i have 2k to spend on a small run about what would you buy? needs to have 5doors would consider 3 1.3 or something with a tiny bit of poke fair bit of room inside. obviously reliable and not a money trap, i reckon i can suss a fair few problems on engine, transmission,susp and brakes.

  water leak seems to be at front of engine and pretty central and only when engine running  and under pressure (i think) also aircon has stopped getting cold (blower working)actually seems to warm up when turned on could they be linked? Anyway any ideas on either would be much appreciated.

  There is oil on the dipstick which is nearly full !!!! There is NO knocking noise at all. Apart from the oil light the car runs fine. What are my next options Thanks for your time Dreadhead

  My daughters car- just driven c 200 miles, when she tries to start it now it makes a whirring noise and doesnt start. then, when she tries the second time it starts & runs perfectly.   Would it be a wet / slipping fan belt or is it a sign of a starting motor wearing out?   OR any other suggections please ?

  I have a 2008 Mazda 6 and tonight I left the (daylight running) lights on to pop into Tesco's. Couldn't have been more than 10 mins, but when I came back, it almost didn't start. I have not used the car much in the past two weeks, but surely that couldn't cause the problem?
