It’s really no different to all those Eighties and Nineties cars that your next-door neighbour said would never be classic - if people care enough about electric cars, then they’ll become a classic. -

Eight cars feature in the initial sale which takes place as part of the Sports, Prestige & Executive auction at BCA Nottingham on Thursday 21 st June, with viewing from 9.00 am and the vehicles offered from 12.00 Noon. All the cars in the programme have been fully restored and are presented to the highest standards with UK registration and 12 months MOT. All cars in the programme are supplied with comprehensive documentation including, where available, details of restoration work undertaken. Further sales of 16 additional cars are scheduled for 19 th July and 24 cars for 16 th August and at least 24 cars monthly at each Top Car Auction in Nottingham thereafter. The initial line-up includes three Chevrolet Corvettes, two Pontiac GTOs, one Chevrolet Camaro, one Pontiac Firebird and a very rare Plymouth GTX, with all models dating from 1963 to 1970. -

It’s record-breaking run is scheduled to take place in South Africa in 2018 when it will target a speed of more than 1000mph. Measuring 12.5 metres long and three metres in height, the car uses a Eurofighter Typhoon jet engine, a cluster of hybrid rockets and a Jaguar V8 to drive its rocket fuel pump. Also on the stand will be two former police cars – a Morris Minor Panda car and an S-type Jaguar. -
