  Many moons ago I had a Renault Clio with a cream interior which I fell in love with! Apologies, this is an novice question, but is it possible to upgrade the interior to cream on a Yaris Hybrid? Thank you!

  It seems from various media reports that Nissan is desperately trying to find a way out of financial disaster. Apparently Renault is thinking of pulling support, 9,000 jobs have been cut globally and its CEO has taken a big pay cut. One further reason being cited is Nissan's failure to offer a decent range of hybrid vehicles.

  I have just lost my third rear windscreen on my Renault Espace in less than 18 months. They have all 'popped' without explanation. The car has always been parked when the screens have broken and Autoglass who fitted them are as puzzled by the problem as I am.

  I want to change from an Renault Espace 8 seater to a smaller vehicle of quality build with 3 individual seats in the back i.e. not a bench or hard seat in the centre. Looking to spend upto £20000 on a 12 month old vehicle (to avoid massive depreciation in the first year).

  Following on from the 'first plastic wheel hub' and 'last starting handle' threads, does anyone care to hazard a guess as to the first car with plastic bumpers (now universal) and the last car with metal bumpers (once universal)? My opening guess is Renault 5 (1971?) for first plastic bumpers and 2CV (1990) for last metal bumpers.

  With the increase in fuel costs and having listened to the radio this morning I have decided that it could be time time to start using vegetable oil, on a 50/50 basis sort of fill up drive a couple of 100 miles add vegetable oil,and vary it. Any considerations on using it with a 2.2 dc renault espace, suitability and whether it's a good idea or not.

  A lot of people refer to car dealers purely by the name of the manufacturer, e.g. Renault instead of Fred Bloggs (Mayfair) Ltd. When the topic of conversation is a complaint (or slur) against either a particular dealer or dealers in general for that make of car I just wonder whether in some listeners'/readers' mind the mud subconsciously sticks to the manufacturer. -- L\'escargot.

  Hi all I posted a couple of weeks ago about the extortionate cost the local Renault dealership wanted to change a Modus head light bulb (£90). Well I contacted another local dealership and they offered a flat fee of £22 including bulb and better still a local body repair and servicing garage did it for £15 inclusive.

  Hello. I have just bought a Renault 5 1.4 Campus 1993 for my daughter (23000 miles 1 owner drives like new). The automatic choke/ enrichment will not shut off and the tickover is about 2000revs plus . I understand that this was common on that model.

  Took my Laguna to the garage today as airbag light is continually on - abs has switched itself off so that light is now on as well. They diagnosed a fault with the ecu and advised me to take car to a Renault dealer to be reset. Is going to the dealer my only option and if so, how much do you reckon it might cost? Thanks

  My Renault Espace 1990 Petrol injection won't fire. Mechanic has confirmed it runs if power is run directly to the fuel pump, but otherwise pump receives no power. He suggested ECU controls fuel pump so that's been computer checked and is OK.

  A 1998 renault scenic turbo-diesel with new glow plugs starts easily from cold only when facing downhill; other car positions mean long spells of churning the starter motor. This "interesting" problem is an absolute pain in the neck (and ears) and is spoiling what is in many ways a nice car.

  I was wondering which of the automotive companies Delphi makes diesel components for. I know of ford and renault using their latest common rail technologies, but as I have an interview with them it would be handy to know who else they work with. Any help appreciated - I need a job! p.s. i hope this message has a large enough motoring slant for it to be deemed acceptable.

  It is fixed tightly though and not sure how to remove it. Can see wires in light grey clips going in but no idea what to do from there). If only a Renault garage can do this does anyone have any idea of roughly how much these two things would cost as I am completely brassic, not to mention fat and exhausted and I could really do without being ripped off if I do have to go to Renault.

  Location = Scotland My Sister bought a Renault Scenic from a small dealer 100miles away (day 1). On day 2 it broke down with INJECTOR FAULT displayed on the dash, and was recovered to a small local garage who managed to get the car going (this work was authorised by the dealer and has been paid for by the dealer).
