  For some reason, it popped up again on Autotrader about a month ago, disappeared and then has come back again again.  I asked about this, I was told the person had trouble getting finance. The problem is that car is 250 miles away. They say it has a dent, but I could not see anything in the video, but in the recent photo. So if I buy it, I would have to wait 7 to 10 days.  I got sent a new videio.

We'll be financing this purchase and would like something pretty reliable considering the monthly payments.   Hopefully everything will go well and my worries will be unfounded. My question is, as this car is on a PCP, will the finance company have an interest in their asset? Also, if it is a write off, which looking at it it could well be, where will I stand with respect to getting a new replacement. My insurance policy has a "new for old" clause which provides a new car if yours is written off in the first year but I am not sure if that will be the case if they are not liable for the repairs/replacement.
