• Vauxhall Vivaro 2700 DTI SWB - Central Digital Display not working 23 Dec 2014 (Forum)
  Wonder if if you can help please? I've just bought a second-hand Vivaro. Tried to put the code in to unlock the radio (Battery had been disconnected by previous owner) but the central digital display (for clock/radio/outside temperature) is not working. Is there a seperate fuse for the digital display or could the problem be something else?

  Hello I have a  problem with my 2001 galaxy 2.3 heater controls.....The fan is working but seems to be stuck on cold also the air-con is not working and the buttons do not light up and also it only blows onto the windscreen. I have tried the battery disconnect / reset and tried removing and reinstalling the control unit to no avail. Is my control unit dead....? .   P.S. the rear control unit seems to be non-op too.

  The vehicle has an intermittent hot start problem and when it occurs it will not start until the car has cooled down for approx 30 mins. Spark plugs are Ford OEM and been changed recently, HT leads are in good condition and battery tests show it fine and healthy. Engine is the 1.8 Petrol Zetec-e    Not sure what to look for next?

   The 10 A fuse in the fuse box in the car and the 30A fuse in the engine bay are good.  Wiring from battery to switch proves motors and switches are all OK.  There is a "circuit breaker (item 74) in the haynes manual, this looks like a candidate as it is common to the windows and sunroof.  Where is item 74, the "circuit breaker".

   There are no warning lights on the dashboard.  What could be causing this?  Another friend has told him to disconnect the battery, wait and while, then connect it up again.  What should he do?  I said he may have to take it to a Vauxhall dealer for diagnostics. Thanks in advance.

M536121 I bought the car recently, and had a new battery fitted, and due to me being a dizzy blond I didn't get the code when I bought it, they said I had all the paperwork, but I haven't got any codes Please, please help me.   Hi, a minute after starting to drive the car, the oil warning light blinks, then after a minute of blinking/flickering it goes off again...i have had a new switch put in, new oil change and filter and even was told to unhook the battery turn the key over a few times to reset the computer and still the blooming thing keeps flickering...any hints on how to overcome this? thanks

   All dials zero, all dash lights come on, clock resets (so complete power loss somehow)... Checked battery terminals and checked for any loose plugs, but can't find any. Any ideas anybody?   Thanks in advance Danny

  I've tried unlocking and relocking everything in various sequences to no avail. Should I just disconnect the battery? Would this action upset the ECU programming? Advice appreciated Thanks Eljay

  This problem however does not occur when using the key itself in the drivers door. I've tried recalibrating and a new battery in the control, but still the same. Could this simply be a sticky lock?

  Car has intermitient starting problem.. Starter motor and battery fine. When it finally catches it runs llike a dream. No spluttering, stop starts etc. therefore unlikely air in fuel or dirty fuel problem. Have been told there may be a fault in sensor to fuel solenoid.?

  The wipers are parked a little way up from normal and will not respond to any switch command, apart from a faint initial 'kick'. Battery has just been replaced for new, and wipers have always worked previously. Any leads? I do not have my owner's manual with me to refer and do not even know where to begin, eg. where are the fuses?

  There appears to be a relay (pink) above the fuses (which are OK) in the glovebox.  There are also fuses under a cover beside the battery but these a very difficult to access. Any help appreciated.

  hi my renault scenic 1.9 dci 2004 clutch has gone to the floor and stayed there,iv checked for leaks by removing the battery, ecu and air box and no signs  i also checked the fluid reservior and is full, if i pull the pedal up with my foot and push it back down there is no resistance, has anybody had this or can help please.

  My Battery was recently taken out & this reset the clock (of course). The problem I'm having is that when I reset the clock it fails to save the new time & date as when I come out of the menu it goes back to the old time.

  Anyone help, replaced altenator a year ago, gen Ford part, battery light comes on and off  at random intervals, took it to local garage they replaced it, same problem. The garage now say they think the ECU has a fault but having talked to a ford wireman he says it might be the smartcharging wire is broken somewhere in the loom between the alternator and the ECU, anyone had similar /?

  The hand book states its an antipolution fault and i should contact citroen ASAP, is this realy the case? or can i just disconnect the battery and clear the light!!   help or advice would be appreciated.

  As a follow-up to the ' Wet Bugatti ' thread, Practical Classics mag reports that a Mercedes 540K Special Roadster has been found on a farm in Russia. This is believed to be Hermann Goering's official car ( Aren't they all ? ). A battery and some fresh petrol ??? Interesting to see what transpires. The last one, of 26 made, sold for about £4 Million. IIRC, a similar car, possibly an SSK, found bricked up at the back of a shop somewhere in the Midlands in the 80s made over £7 Million at auction.
