Good day out 14 Sep 2006 (Forum)
Having been to this event for the last few years and thoroughly enjoyed it can I recommend it to fellow motoring fans? http://www.see-red.uk.com/races.asp I love the old racing/sports cars and to see (and hear!) those old Maserati 250Fs, Lancia D50s, Alfa 158s etc as well as the even earlier Bugattis, Talbots, Bentleys etc: it stirs the blood! You can also get into the pit area and see the cars at close quarters and have a chat with the owners/drivers Anyway, have a look at the site - I have no connection with the organisers, Donington Park etc, etc but it is a good day out! -
Chrysler Voyager Electrics 28 Mar 2006 (Forum)
The thing has been plagued with heating/ electrical problems. 3 trips back to the garage so far and now the heater blower has stopped working and its not the fuse. Question: Are these cars renowned for poor electrics or are we just unlucky? Are the newer models (with stow and go) any better? We love the car but this is putting us off purchasing another one when the time comes to trade it in. -- \" Keep doing the same old thing, youll get the same old thing, try something different today! -
How best to sell Saab 900 18 Mar 2004 (Forum)
She is getting a Renault Scenic and it seems that she has been offered £1500 as PX. I realise that the car is 7 years old but isn't £1500 a little on the light side? I can understand that the dealer doesn't really want a car this old (in years rather than mileage) but if it is a little too cheap how else can she sell? -
Nissan Almera for £7250??? 16 Sep 2003 (Forum)
I was thinking about downsizing from my BMW 330 to a new Clio or something nondescript. Now I see I can have a Nissan Almera Pulse with cd and aircon for £7250! My brother bought an old 100k Nissan Sunny once as a stop gap car. It had well over a 100k miles. In the year he had it it never broke down. returned 40 mpg and was sold with another 30k miles on it at a profit! The car still lives three years later with over 200k on it. -

Passat Groans 28 Jul 2002 (Forum)
I've recently purchased a year old Passat 1.8T SE. I decided on this car after losing so much money on my previous Mondeo. I am very satisfied with the car but with one exception. The Dashboard groans and creaks with every imperfection in the road and around every bend. -
OMEGA HOW BAD 20 Jan 2002 (Forum)
I have owned a '92 Granada Scorpio 2.9i 24v for about 5 years now. I still love the car, runs well, and plenty of power when I want it. My problem is that to be honest its looking now like an old farmers run about, the back arches are scabby, and the paintwork dull. Only have about £7k to spend, considering the old Scorpio is worth about nothing now. -
