  The history file has invoice records detailing all work carried out each year from 2016 to 2019 by Aston Martin Works in Newport Pagnell which total £38,942. Even the original clock and radio are in full working order. Estimate: £380,000 to £410,000. The next generation is this glorious RHD 1964 Aston Martin DB5 4-speed manual, one of only 1,021 DB5s originally built.

Passenger and rear seats were removed to keep weight down, while pro-spec radio communications were installed along with a quick-release bonnet catch. The diesel Range Rover went on to achieve huge sales success in continental European countries that were pro-diesel and subject to punitive tax regimes on vehicles with engines greater than 2.5 litres, although it was never a big seller in the UK.

  Being a 1.6-litre, it's full on suburban spec - exactly the kind of car your mate from school's dad would have had, complete with optional radio-cassette player to keep up with the Joneses.  It's a seven-seater, too, meaning it's the perfect usable classic for those with large families, or mothers-in-law that they prefer to install in the car backwards.  Being a Channel Island car, this one's a genuine low-miler, although an island life suggests to us that, even with just 30,000 miles on the clock, it would be prudent to give it a thorough once-over for underbody corrosion, not least because the owner even admits that the bodywork will 'need attention' - it looks okay in the pictures, but we'd ask for several close-ups before jumping on a ferry to Guernsey.

Edd’s passenger for the demonstrations was Wave 105 radio presenter Rick Jackson, who commentated as they careered around the special course. With Edd taking his place on the toilet seat of Bog Standard and gripping the sink handlebars, Rick reclined in the bathtub - the pair clocking speeds of up to 34mph as they motored along.

  Bought by the so-called ‘king of rock ‘n’ roll’ in October 1976, the burgundy and silver car is in original condition and still has the CB radio installed that Elvis used to communicate to his staff at his home in Graceland at Memphis, Tennessee. Made by General Motors, the body was custom built by Fisher for Cadillac.
