• Chevrolet Spark - Thoughts? 4 Nov 2013 (Forum)
  We've been looking for a new car to replace a 15 year old Corsa and want something cheap to run but also something that looks a bit different and so have been interested in the Chevrolet Spark.  Has anyone here had any experience with it - likes/dislikes?

  We have a Ford Fusion 1.4 Petrol 2008 model and the transmission sounds like it is running dry, Is this normal for these? I'm going to be checking the Transmission oil level at the weekend just incase.

  The battery warning light stays iluminated when the engine is running and there is no power assisted steering are the problems linked ? and how easy/costly is the repair?

  hi can anyone help me its the service light ,when i start up it goes off ,after about 2 mile it comes on and stays on,t does this every time but the engine runs fine ,any idears thanks

  When I switch on the ignition but not the engine I get a whining type noise then it goes off then somtines you hear it again when the car is running ? Seems intermittent problem also what is the recommended mileage for a cambelt change on this model. There 37000 on the clock.

  xhen  car  is  started  its  fine,  as  it  xarms  up the  rev  counter  stops  xorking,  the  eml  light  comes  on,  the  coolant  light  also  flickering  and  it  runs  jumpy  /  chugging, is  it  crankshaft  sensor?

  engine runs rough and seems to hesitate when accelerating up a hill after cruising at 60/65 mph. roughness disappears as soon as throttle eased. Any thoughts?

  For those that may be interested, I noticed whilst in ASDA this morning that they are running their 5 litre of own brand oil for £10 again. They are also doing 2.5 litres of concentrated screen wash, which is normally £1.95 a time, on a 3 for £3 deal.

  when the pedal is pressed down sometimes it doesn't come back upstraight away so gears are not engaged but when it does come back up everything is fine are these run on hydrolics, cable or ram and is there a spring behind the pedal any help would be great

  Hi I am having trouble starting my micra - especially when its  cold weather. Once its running its no problem. Ive read about the timing chains stretching. Is this anything to do with this or more likely to be a choke problem or similar.

  HGV's normally crawl up, but coming the other way, I'm darn sure they come down at well over 60 mph. Do they run down in neutral to avoid the speed limiter? Mmmmm.

  A few weeks ago I had a new clutch fitted. Under local use it is fine, but after a run on the motorway the pedal needs enormous pressure to operate the clutch. After sevral operations at lower speeds the clutch returns to normal operation. Amny thoughts   Bisleymike

  i have filled with lhm fluid and now it is over the max level this is when the car is running and the lever is in the top position sorry if something is miss speled i am not from the uk thanks

  I suppose if you're going to overtake, you're going to overtake, but this must have been a trifle disconcerting. The real challenge is to work out what does the overtaking I think! Safe for work, and runs about ten seconds. Blink and you miss it. http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1922738
