  • Ford Mustang (2005 - ) - Ford sued again.. 5 Aug 2008 (Forum)
Looks like Ford have made the same mistake as Renault did with the Clio Williams in the 1990s. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080804/od_uk_nm/oukoe_uk_ford_collectors Still $12,000,000 ain't bad if they win..
  • Clio Wipers 1 Apr 2007 (Forum)
Driving my mother's Clio (X Reg, auto box) this afternoon, noticed wipers are set for LHD. Is this normal for Renault? Our own cars are French, Xantia and Berlingo, but both are set to clear up to the RH edge of the screen as was my F reg 205.

  • "Dacia" Duster double cab pickup? 2 Jul 2019 (Forum)
Slightly decieving, as it is actually badged Renault, but is a Dacia in all but name. Why can't we get this in the UK?. Surely not all UK buyers of double cab pickups want or need something the size of a bus, with engines to match?. The Renault Duster Oroch is on sale in various South American countries, with a choice of 1.6 or 2.0 engines, both of which are available as petrol or ethanol.
  • Renault Clio III - Help with buying a second car 16 Dec 2015 (Forum)
It has had 2 owners and its in very good condition (looking at photos as i'm 100 miles away from it). It has some service history with renault but the last owner was married to a mechanic who serviced the vehicle himself. The story I was told was that the lady was Irish and bought a brand new Ford and took it back to Ireland to claim tax back?!
  • Can I reject a car over paintwork? 27 Oct 2011 (Forum)
It is not unsafe or undrivable but is not up to the quality of what I would expect from a new car. I had two MCC Smarts prior to this Renault and they were immaculate. The car was bought on finance (Renault Selections). There was also a p/x on finance which they took in and cleared the finance on. Andy.
  • Renault - 94 2.5 Master T35D Leaking Diesel 12 Jul 2009 (Forum)
Hi there, I don't know if anyone can help me but I've a 1994 Renault Master T35D camper van with a non-turbo 2.5 diesel engine. Recently it's been getting air in the fuel system to the point that I can't start it from cold without first priming the fuel filter by pressing the plunger pump around 30 times.
  • Renault Safrane (1992 - 2000) - 1995 2.2vi overfuelling/rough running on start 10 Nov 2008 (Forum)
Could this be ignition lead related? It seems to happen more in the Autumn and Winter. I have tried Renault main dealer for diagnostics, but been told their latest kit isn't compatible with the Safrane, and they don't have staff who can remember much about the engine management system. In my exasperation I called the RAC to witness the rough running / petrol smell which eventually cured before their eyes - the RAC man radioed a colleague, describing my Safrane as having a "female problem - being unpredictable"...It's probably best if I don't agree with that!
  • Renault Clio II (2001 - 2007) - 02 Clio Locking/Unlocking & Starting problem 9 Nov 2007 (Forum)
(does anyone know why this is? Was so impressed that I forgot to ask!) Went straight to my local Renault dealer who found no problem with EITHER keys (ie. the spare that has not worked for over a year now works!?!) or the immobiliser. I am convinced there is a problem - does anyone have any ideas? Yours hopefully CJ ps Apologies for the long message!
