  My Laguna Privilege has been enjoyable to drive but it is now starting to get one fault after another. So, today I went and looked at 2 cars that please my eye. A Nissan Qashqai (15k) and an Audi A5 Sportsback. Audi 2L diesel was 1st and although the car looks wonderful my first words I said to the salesman was "No foot rest for the left foot". Petty to some but I've been so used to it I thought all cars had them these day.

  I would like to see if anyone can come up with the "killer" argument for my current quandry. In February we ordered a 1.8TFSI Audi A3 sportback which arrived in time for the 09 plate registrations. It replaced a Saab 9-3 and at that point we planned to make this our only car by also retiring our old Mazda 323 when its MOT expired in September (as I was taking the train to work).

  Seeing my colleagues' Octavia this morning and neighbours' Audi highlighted two polar opposites in the treatment of company cars. The Octavia (L & K TD140) is an 06/55 plate and been mercilessly abused since day one. Despite the cream leather interior it is used as a glorified van and not been cleaned inside once since new.

  Within the mainstream cars Ssangyong were the biggest gainers in % terms up by 38.0%, closely followed by Saab up 35.3%, Kia up 18.9% Mitsubishi up 10.6%, BMW up 9.3%,Skoda up 7.9%, Honda up 7.8%, Audi up 7.1%,Land Rover up 5.7%, Lexus up 5.0%, VW up 2.0% & Toyota up only 1.2%. M.Benz were almost static up 0.4% and are now selling fewer cars in the U.K than Audi. LOSERS Lamborghini were the biggest losers in % terms down 56.9%, but the biggest volume drop was Fiat down 50.8%, which makes them look extremely vulnerable.

  Hi all, Recently bought an Audi 80 TDi M reg with 94000 miles on the clock. The mileage seemed genuine as the car did not have the typical stone chpis on bonnet etc associated with high mileage cars. I bought the car from a Lady who said she had got it on a px for her car frm a local garage it just one month before and she did not really like it.

  A couple of dealers near by have the following for sale: 1999/T Audi A6 2.8 Quattro 45k 2 owners sat/nav,air, leather, with NetworkQ warranty for £16k 1998/R Mercedes E300TD Elegance, auto, air, 1 owner 95k for £16k. There are loads of 528s about though mostly with big mileage.

  Well I took a test-drive of the Audi Allroad (180PS 2.5TDi) on Saturday. To the horror of my wallet, my initial impressions of this leviathan were promising. I?ve always liked this car in Irish Green (a metallic sage), shying away from the darker colours.

  Hi, I bought a very nice and tidy Audi A3 four months ago from a dealer in Essex. It had only done 82,000 miles which was nice and low for the year and it was obviously well cared for. For peice of mind I asked for and payed extra to have a new cambelt done and full service carried out.

  had car back to garge who say timing is spot on but there 'could be wear' in my fuel pump...had pump scanned by a bosch guy who said pump timing looked ok an no code but mechanic who did cam work could have timing slightly out at the valves? apart from paying another audi tech to take off the rockers and re-do the work i'm stumped on what it could be any ideas welcome!

  It was pretty cheap, had massive service history and in retrospect far to many gadgets to go wrong. My last Audi never had any major problems despite getting to 185,000 miles and this one only had 64,000 when I got it. All has gone well until just recently at 77,000 miles. I was on the motorway and decided to overtake someone, a car was coming in the fast lane but I knew the amount of power I had available to overtake.

  We have three cars in the household. Two recommend Helix 0w-20 but slightly different specs because one’s an Audi, the other’s a Honda. Third car recommended oil is 5w-30. My question is - do I really have to buy three separate bottles to top up at £45 to £50 in total or can I just use the 5w-30 on all cars as I have half a bottle of that left?
