  When I am on a light throttle or sometimes when lifting off, there is a low volume, low frequency noise, a bit like a whistle. The car runs perfectly otherwise. Any ideas?

  3.2 Omega estate just cuts out for a fraction of a second occasionally but sometimes just dies altogether.Won't immediately restart, then will after a short period.Otherwise runs perfectly ok.Any ideas? Problem appears to be worsening.

  Whoever was enquiring about SP2, and hopefully not installed it yet, should look at Ceefax p116 where problems are reported, including a long list of programs that don't run properly/at all. What a surprise!

  The radiator cooling fan only cuts in for a short time when required. The problem is that occassionally, it makes a vibrating noise (as if a bearing has run dry), during part of the time it is on for cooling. Anyone else had this problem? Alex

  This is only for cars that are Post 1990!!. My was a Suzuki Vitara 1991 with the Fat Boy kit. Horrific. Running it a close second was the 1997 Astra Convertible. Horrible.

  Only running on 3 cylinders and misfiring. Had the fuel injector on cylinder 4 replaced, at a cost of just over £380.   Car still not fixed, but looking around at other garages and getting other opinions before going ahead with what this garage recommended - a fuel injector loom replacement.

  In the interest of full disclosure, there is another occasional problem which may be related...this one is completely random...whilst driving the glow plug light comes on and after 15 seconds the engine loses all power. I have to pull over, switch off and re-start at which time the engine runs normally again. I have had this problem for 6 years. There is no pattern to this problem other than it never occurs at idle...only when underway at 2-3k rpm. Occurs on 1 out of approx. 50 times I use the car.

  Change the diesel filter and it work out for 2 days the engine run perfect, no glow plug but 4days ago coming from work rev it a bit and the engine it’s gone completely dead. I've a code reader AVTOP run it and came up with one code (P0100) which is the mass air flow meter (MAF), took it out cleaned and put it back, run the code scanner again and no codes came up, a bit doubtful about the code reader, unplug the EGR and the egr sensor and code reader pick up the codes, so code reader looks okay.
