  I doubt it ,what with their low speed capabilities. I know there are many types around including the 4 wheeled motorcyle, Aixam mini-car and the side- by -side  3 seaters with roll cages. There's just been a morway fatality with one.

  Passed the Ford dealership at Brewery roundabout in Romford today. Saw they had a used Citroen, a Mini and another car for sale on the front. Not seen this before. Are new car sales still struggling that much they have to sell other makes on the forecourt? Does this also mean p/x values are up?

  I'm about to smarten up the 1275 engine that will replace the one in my wife's old 998 Mini. The clutch bellhousing is really tatty and looks all oxidised. What is the most effective way of smartening this up and other parts of similar type material such as the carb etc? Thanks, Stuart

  Can anyone please advise of an add-on oil pressure guage kit ( as per those available for the 2CV and the Mini ) where the sensor is connected to the guage by wire rather than a pipe? Have done a search but have found only the capilliary type so far. Any pointers much appreciated. Thanks, Pete.

  Don’t worry, no contact or broken bones. On approaching a mini R/B on a narrow road this morning a cyclist (man in early 60’s, no helmet) started to undertake me but due to relative speeds on approach ended up riding alongside me. The road was narrow and there wasn’t really enough space for him to do so, consequently he was really close to the side of the car.
