• Ford Focus - Ford CD6000 Clock reset 10 Jan 2011 (Forum)
  The manual says to save it by pressing the "clock button" but I don't have one of these, I have a "phone" one instead and pressing that just mute's the radio! (it's the CD6000 with the central volume knob).

  Last week my wifes megane's radio stopped working, i finally got round to checking the fuses on the weekend, but all were fine. I noticed that the centre dash display back light doesnt go out, its been staying on all nite and day.

  My Nokia 6303 has been working fine with the ford bluetooth,but,no longer.Eventhough the screen states connected to  ford audio on switch on, no functions are working thru the ford system.I have repaired and it has confirmed connection but when a call comes through its through the mobile only,i cant dial through the ford audio buttons either...!!! but vodafone does come up on the radio screen..any help please. The speaker symbol is showing on the mobile too.

  No lights light up around that section. The heater will not come on and the back window heaters do not cone on too. The radio and clock work fine. I have looked at the fuses but they seem fine. Any help please Can anyone help with a diagram for fuse box or under engine diagram
• Mini Cooper S (2006 model) - Stereo on with no ignition 20 Jul 2010 (Forum)
  Wife has a Mini cooper s fitted with standard radio cd player. Ive never noticed before but you can have the stereo on without the ignition being on. Is this normal?, i thought you could only have it on with ignition switched to fist position. It alos keeps turning itself off after 20 minutes of use, however you can turn it straight back on. just a bit puzzled.

  My elderly parents collected a brand new Megane 4 days ago and have already had 2 minor electrical(bulbs etc) faults and a complete non start resulting in recovery. AA have commented about interference from external power sources as the car uses radio waves???? any one know of any official/unofficial problems before I approach the dealer, as they feel like they are getting fobbed off! p.s. It's a Diesel. Thanks.

  My girlfriends 12v ignition switched wire has no power whatsoever (red wire) - How can this be fixed? I have BASIC knowledge in auto electrics. The reason I ask is because I'm installing a new radio and I would need to wire the 12v ignition switched to the yellow 12v constant supply for power.. Thank you! ;) Phil.

  Speaking to a German today on the ham radio he tells me that it's illegal to drive in germany in winter without winter tyres fitted, he says you can drive but should you have a bump the insurance won't pay out? So my guess is they have 2x sets of wheels or drive all year on winter tyres?

  Hi Citroen c5 hdi will not start and it says that license 4759747 has expired (traffic master) What does that mean. Every thing goes dead all accesories including power windows. the radio, aircon, etc. And if at all it start and run the engine, everything comes back to life, like magic. Ive checked all Fuses on both fuseboxes. what to do?

  I don't know if you can set petrol vapour alight with a mobile phone signal, but if that signal is unsafe, how come all the little radio signals opening and closing doors are ok?

  My SLK is fitted with a standard MB Radio & CD player. In stead of leaving original CD's to float around the car thought I would burn some copies but no matter what application I use they wont play(Windows Media Player, ITunes, Real Player) I burn from a PC .

  I've noticed that the 'advanced' menu has a bluetooth on/off toggle. But does the unit actually have a bluetooth radio installed? I've tried pairing it from a Nokia 6300 handset, but the phone finds nothing. Anyone ever tried this? tia- tt

  I was driving home with my wife when she pushed the electric window button and the windows, sunroof, radio and computer display all stopped working. In the bonnet it turned out to be the 1st 60 Amp fuse. I replaced but it kept blowing. I've now replaced the window motor and regulator but it's just blown again.

  The dashboard light went off but every time I start the car I get airbag fault on the central display (for the trip computer / radio etc...). Does this have to be reset by the dealer or do I still have a fault ?? any suggestions will be greatly appreciated..

  I wondered if anybody could tell me what size speakers i will need to replace the current ones with, (as i don't want to take it apart just to discover the size of them)!! It is only a very basic model with a radio cassette, which i am hoping to change to a cd player at the same time!

  Presumably it is a blocked drain hole but to access it I need to remove the battery. Haynes implies I can disconnect the battery without a problem (I do know the radio code). Can anyone confirm that this car doesn?t suffer any kind of electrical gremlins when removing the battery? Many thanks

  Basically all the functions work, the volume is turned up and the mute is off but still no sound. I have tried both Radio and CD player to no avail. Perhaps someone can suggest a fix? Thanks, Simon P.s its got 83k in the clock so is out of warranty I believe.
• Motorcycle interferes with my television reception 24 Sep 2007 (Forum)
  When it passes my house, about 3 times a day, the screen is corrupted into an annoying mass of pixels which lasts for about 5-10 seconds. Is there still a law that you must not have any equipment that interferes with radio or television receivers ?, if so and I manage to get the number plate of the offender what are my options?. Mal.

  Eight of the twelve 250m radio masts by the M1 at Rugby were demolished over the weekend of 20 June. The rest will probably follow when their current use for the MSF time signal ends. They have been a distinctive landmark, particulary at night with their red beacon lights on journeys since childhood.
