Does it have an AUX socket? - BobbyG
Being lazy here - my friend has a new shape Civic Sport, 06 plate.
She wants me to do all the research for her to see if she can connect her ipod up.
She is in London just now and I am in Glasgow.

Any Civic owners out there can tell me if the standard radio has an Aux in socket and if so, where is it?

Done some quick googling and it would appear that the answer is a definite NO - a surprise to me for such a new modern car!

Not that surprising. My '08 Qashqai (launched in '07) doesn't have one either. Apparently the '09 spec models will however.

I would agree with you on older Civics but not the new design, very rarely see oldies driving them, think they have worked their way into Jazzes now?

Yep, round my way ( Christchurch / Highcliffe) the Jazz is the transport of choice these days, with the Meriva in second place.

Back on topic I agree an FM transmitter might be the least painful route.

but not much of it left

I have used up most of mine, dont have a Honda or I-pod. I use the cars steam radio and these new fangled CD things, but would a FM transmitter device do the job?

Old I admit to, not quite dodery (yet). All ladies are young, (like policemen(persons)). Sussed the gritted roads yet?
