    Described by its vendor as ‘surely a museum piece or for the serious collector’, the Cortina remains completely untouched and exactly as it was when it arrived at its supplying dealer. It has only minor storage marks, but is otherwise as ‘new’ as a MkI Cortina can be in the 21st century. The only downside is that you’ll need a cool £25,000 in order to become the next custodian of this unique Ford.

    They served to protect the factory workers from German bombers during WW2 and ended up becoming something of a storage-cum-hiding area in more recent years. The car was rescued from the tunnels in November 2012, and its owner Steve Morgan vowed to restore the car to as new condition. We’ll need to wait and see what its new owner decides to do with this curio.

    The car has only ever been driven on the road once – from the supplying dealer to the current owner, where it has remained in perfect storage conditions for the past 22 years. Finished in white with the iconic Martini livery, the car is one of a limited run of 400 that were made to celebrate the Integrale’s fifth consecutive World Rally manufacturers’ championship for Lancia.
  • First Lynx Eventer could make £30,000 at auction 2 Sep 2014 (News)
    The first production spec Lynx Eventer – one of just 67 made – was offered for sale at Silverstone Auctions’ Autumn Sale. In storage for the past 15 years, the car needed a full restoration. With 116,840 miles on the 5.3-litre V12 HE, the car came with a vast history file. Registered in 1982, 1 HOP (now wearing CYJ621Y) was used in Lynx’s marketing material and featured in the factory brochure as well as motoring magazines.

    A Mini with just 18 miles on the clock is expected to fetch up to £15k when it goes under the hammer next month. The black Mini 30 special edition, which has been in storage for the past 25 years, will be offered for sale at Anglia Car Auctions on 4 April. Just 3000 Mini 30s were made to celebrate the iconic model’s 30 th birthday – 2000 in Cherry Red Pearlescent and 1000 in black.
