Hondadealers,High Expectations? 11 Jan 2006 (Forum)
51?reg Honda Accord, in a somewhat forlorn state of appearance. As I drove away I spotted that the radio needed a code inputting so returned to the service desk. They told me that they did not have the code and a new radio was on order.Great, I thought, I would be in the car for about 450 miles with no radio. -

Citroen C2 GT 1.6 2004 - Mysterious noise that is draining my battery 13 Jun 2016 (Forum)
I thought that perhaps it was the non-standard radio (a Blauplunkt Toronto 400) causing the issue, but the garage confirmed that radio was fitted correctly. I throw myself to the mercy of this group - Please help! Thanks. -
Hyundai i10 2009 - Fitting a new car battery these days.... 12 Feb 2016 (Forum)
I see that we must turn the ignition key to position one to activate the cig. lighter circuit. And check the 9 volt battery in the device is sound too. Apart from the radio stations what else might we lose if we just disconnected the old and fitted the new? Is there still a radio code on cars such as this? Or what else in the electronics might get lost in the move? -
Skoda Fabia - 02 Fabia Brake Lights & Other Electrics 29 Apr 2013 (Forum)
They went off when the car was started, moved 3 feet, and stopped and all seemed ok for the rest of the day. The next morning the battery was completely and utterly flat - no alarm, central locking, radio, even the clock had reset. 3) As well as the above, for some time the radio volume has been "sticky". Sometimes no sound until the volume control is turned up to max. Sometimes only one speaker, sometimes the other. -
Ipod through a 3.5mm 'Aux-in' plug 31 Jan 2007 (Forum)
According to the Dension website, they don't make a 'wired' link for a Ford S-max with the 6006 stereo, only a FM radio link. In past experience, FM radio links are not really that good. It's a shame because | have a dension hard wired solution in my BMW and it is fantastic, it charges the Ipod, perfect sound quality and the steering wheel controls operate the Ipod. -
Computer Related Questions - Volume 103 9 Oct 2006 (Forum)
There's little out there (that I can see anyway) that charges the iPod while playing it in good quality and includes a radio. Had a look at the Apple iPod radio, but that uses the connector that is also used for charging so that doesn't work with the dock/hi-fi. So would I just be better off getting a decent pair of speakers, good amp and tuner (and if so, which ones) and a docking station connected to it that also charges. -
car broken into - Insurance Question 1 Mar 2004 (Forum)

How much?? 30 Sep 2003 (Forum)
I had gone there to find out how much it would cost to fit a cd autochanger to my 2 month old Sharan. The Sharan already has the facility for CD’s in the standard dashboard radio cassette, all it needs is the autochange fitting in the back. As I was waiting to be served, I wondered how much the showroom had cost and who would pay for it. I soon found out. To fit the autochanger (excluding the existing radio cassette) would cost £385 plus vat for the parts and another £75 plus vat to fit it. -
Tinted window glass - a warning 14 Jul 2003 (Forum)
I heard this on Radio 5 this pm. Briefly, a chap was stopped by the police and 2 \'government inspectors\' who proceeded to check how much light was getting through the windows of his Chrysler Voyager. The test showed not enough so he was ordered to remove his car from the road within the hour. -
Ask Steven Byers 27 Apr 2002 (Forum)
Don't laugh but was listening to Jimmy Young on the radio today. I know I know, not normal radio fodder it just happened to be on, honest john. Anyway he will be having Steven Byers on in the future, date to be rearranged and JY is asking for questions on transport to put to Byers. -

Electric cars only by 2030? 24 Jun 2019 (Forum)
Apparently the selling of new diesel and petrol cars was to be stopped in 2040 now according to the radio it's feasible by 2030. Norway is the inspiration for this as they are well on the way to getting the majority of their population in electric cars. I have no faith in electric cars mainly because of range anxiety, until I can get a decent distance out of one in the middle of winter without recharging forget it. -

Vauxhall Corsa (2003) - car not stating 27 Jul 2014 (Forum)
Went to pull away from my drive, stuck the key in the ignition and the 'clicking' that usually occurs when you move the key clockwise did not occur. Instead, as it moved to completion all that occurred was the radio turned on, the engine did not start. The lights and indicators work however central locking has stopped working. Any information would be helpful, cheers. -
Ford Focus - Audio from iPhone/MP3/Mobile 27 Mar 2013 (Forum)
I have a 2007 Ford Focus with the Sony CD/Radio Head unit, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about adding iPhone connectivity. I'm not fussed if it involves a phone car-kit type setup, but the head unit has got a Aux/Line-In. -
