Hi All, I would like to know your thoughts on this product, i read it in an article in the Sunday post some of you's might also have seen it. It is called a Fuel-pod and it makes Bio-Diesel by using eathier new or used veg oil and purifying it and adding methonal. i would consider purchasing it but have heard a lot of people on here saying not to put Bio-Diesel in your car. -
HJ doubting diesel 29 Apr 2008 (Forum)
In HJ's Saturday Telegraph column today he comments to a reader that he is getting so many reports of failed DMFs/clutches, injection pumps, injectors, turbos, intercoolers and EGR valves on diesels that he wonders whether overall running costs may be cheaper for petrol engined cars. Now I don't agree with HJ on everything he writes but it was EGR valve problems (and mis-fueling concerns) that put me off a diesel C Max last year. -

Hi All After becoming almost "obsessed" with fuel prices after buying a petrol car,today I was amazed to see,at my local Tesco the difference between Petrol and Diesel down to 0.9p a litre. 93.9 for petrol and 94.8 for diesel.I know we are approaching hotter weather and usually has an effect on Diesel prices,but never seen it this low. -

The reaction takes place in a chamber just before the inlet valve of the engine. The expanding gases push down the piston in the same way as the burning of petrol or diesel. Valve timing will be different of course. The cylinder remains clean - doesn?t get carboned up. Exchange your used up tank at a refuelling station, and the spent fuel can be regenerated by heating it in the presence of hydrogen. -
