Michelin tyres are tested not by Michelin itself, but wholly independently by DEKRA, based in Narbonne, South West France and by the respected German organisation TUV, that has been testing and certifying products generally for 140 years. The tyres are all bought from different retail outlets in different European markets to prevent any ‘special’ tyres being supplied that could distort the results of the tests. -

For an engine to cut out when driving on a busy road could have fatal consequences, as following traffic would receive no warning and could well crash into one from behind. This is particularly likely in France in our experience, where tailgating seems to be a national sport. We await your comments with interest. CWD, Oxted Good point. In addition to that, I keep telling people never to put anything else on the same keyring as their car keys. -

That's why we see so many fields of yellow oil seed rape at this time of year. Not just in the UK; in Spain, Italy and France as well. Towed haul I have a 2014 Honda 2.2 diesel CR-V, which I run normally in Eco mode and obtain good fuel economy. I am about to re-start towing my caravan and wonder if I should switch off the Eco mode whilst towing? -
