Rover 75 V6 Tourer, automatic petrol, 28k miles - ROVER 75 2004 - REMOTE LOCK/UNLOCK NO LONGER WORKS 11 Jan 2013 (Forum)
What do you suggest I do? Should I disconnect main battery again? I am perplexed as to why my radio continues to work after such a drain-down (AND I now discover that I do not have & never did have the radio security code), but the key fob does not ! How should I proceed please? -

Some 4hrs later thought did I turn off ignition,answer on checking No I had not,the battery was completely flat,dash lights no radio had gone into SAFE and will need recoding,the only charger I had was a .06amp trickle one I plugged this in and left it overnight to my surprise the following morning ie after about 15hrs the car started perfectly and my wife was able to drive to town (7miles) to shop and everything is ok apart from of course the radio still on safe until recoding. -

No doubt some members of the public will now think that it's ok not to wash their cars because that bloke on the radio said a hosepipe would lead to this and he was a motoring journalist, so he must be right. Even I, who puts his car through a car wash once every six months if it's lucky, am capable of getting a bucket and sponge and cleaning the vital bits. -

Sorry for the noob question but im lost lol. The radio has given me this code Mp DS dp 3-03 255 But I have no idea how to put that in as a serial to get the code needed. Any help will be greatly appreciated Many thanks -

hi problem with battery drain on micra k12 2003 reg, its ok if we use it every day but if its left for couple days battery is flat? tried obvious things like replace battery disconnect radio and checked no interior lights are on! any ideas thanks -
Ford Fiesta - Keycode retrival 19 Sep 2013 (Forum)
Hello, Bought an old fiesta from an old neighbour. Have got it up and running and street legal. If anyone could provide the keycode for the radio (m026428) I'd be grateful. The original unit (3000) has been changed to a 5000. The keycode in the log book must refer to the original as its not working in the current Thanks -
Parking Across Driveways 25 Jan 2011 (Forum)
Discussion on radio this morning about parking tickets handed out for rediculous reasons. A qualified driving instruction stated that it is NOT illegal to park across a driveway and is termed an inconvenience. I thought it could be classed as an obstruction and hence the police could arrange for the vehicle to be towed away. -

All dials on dash - speedo etc are at zero and lights are off, but car working fine everything works, indicators, headlights etc. The lights on the center console for the Radio/Cd etc are all fine. We have checked fuses etc but they seem fine too?. Can anybody help?? -

One has to ask how the child got hold of the 'weapon' in the first place. I was listening to an interview about this on the radio and essentially what they were saying was that it was an isolated set of circumstances that make a claim eligable and it shouldnt open any floodgates. -

Part of the fuse board is not live (ignition on or off) radio, alarm, central locking not working there is about 8 fuses without power to them, all fuses ok {Shouting reduced, ie, amended the UPPER case wording} -

my radio,horn,hazards and interior lights will only work when headlights are switched on.then if i lower dash dimmer slightly they don't work,sometimes get buzzing noise from fusebox,any ideas? -

On my local radio station, one of the national windscreen firms is running an ad that includes the statement "if you have a cracked windscreen, in some accidents, your airbags may not work properly". I just about understand the logic that a cracked windscreen won't provide the same level of strength in itself in an accident but how does it affect the airbag? -

hi i had to disconnect the battery on my audi A6 - 1998. now reconnected the radio and everything else works fine apart from the nokia phone wont charge in the nokia cradle. the phones doesnt even recongnise that its in the holder. ive tried another phone to no avail. any ideas? -

Hi some scroate has pinched the screw in aerial which sits at the rear of the roof on my Omega. As I usually listen to Cd's rather than radio I don't want to spend a fortune on a replacemtn. Anyone know where I can get a cheapy from at all please? -

Having taken the bull by the horns now in charge of this piece of GM craftsmanship the comp has thrown a wobbly can these be reset and/or how much to re-place? also on the left hand stalk there are some buttons that do not seem to do much, sussed the radio/comp /wipers but these have me baffled !!help anyone
