  However the CrossClimate2 in my size (195/65/R15) are speed rated H, unless I go for the reinforced ones which are V (91V specified on drivers door sticker) Reinforced seems a bit overkill for the Mazda 3, no? Would it affect normal handling/braking negatively? (Largely town driving, some m'way and some muddy lanes) Any thoughts appreciated, thank you!

  Hi Bought a used Mazda 3 about 40 days ago. 2 days in got engine management light, had to take back in and fault was fixed (I should know what they fixed but dont and am checking tomorrow). Today broke down 200 miles from Home, rescue couldnt fixed so had to get a hire carbto get home.

  Higher octane fuel is more knock resistant, so the lean burn compression ignition would have problems. Would be interesting to hear HJ's thoughts on this. Mazda actually recommend 95 RON.

  Hello! I'm looking to buy a used car (2016 Mazda 3 2.0) and from looking at an HPI check and service history, I can see it's have two owners - the last owner brought it in August last year at 17,110 miles. Fast forward to today and I'm looking to buy it from a dealer (Suzuki - I think it was a part-exchange) - it has 19,500 miles.

  A friend is having problems with his Mazda 6, starting, misfiring and just general poor running. He booked it into a dealer who said he had badly contaminated petrol, They said they had not seen anything like it before, apparently the fuel in the tank was black.

  Have had inspected by dealers who feel this is fair wear or over enthusiasic error by the operator, i have never known this bracket to fail in any previous car over the last 40 years. Do you feel i would have a good case if i approached Mazda UK direct?

  Hi All, I recently purchased a Mazda 5 and have discovered a problem was wanting help with. The passenger side sliding door doesn't latch when it is frosty. I can unlock and open the door without a problem, but when i close it, it doesn't latch, or stay closed.

  Hi Everyone, have not been on here for a while! I was just wondering that if a car, such as the Mazda 6 diesel 2008 2.0tdi was to run-away on its own fuel, by turning off the ignition - would it cause the run-away to stop? My main reason for asking specifically about this car, is that i need to know if it has an air intake valve which shuts off when the ignition is off....knowing one of the ways to stop an engine run-away is to starve it of air.

  Hi,  Mazda 6 2.0D year 2008 The DPF light came on and there was a loud bang - lots of smoke from the back. Limped it to a dealer (not customer friendly) who said engine compressions down to about half what they should be - suspected pistons could be bent and recommended a new engine.

  My Mazda 323TD (90k miles) has started running rough recently hestitating and surging at low speeds. Today I felt a distinct lack of power pulling away from stop. Runs okay at higher speeds. When revving at c2k when staionary there is first blue smoke then black from the exhaust and the engine stutters then runs okay above 3k revs.

  Hi, I have just bought a 1992 Mazda Mx-5. The car is imported and on the V5, the only date of registration is 1992 i.e. no month specified. Underneath the car, the cat has rusted away, i think it's only the outer casing that's rusted.

  traction light comes on to, been told they are on the same ciruit... apart from this little niggle, great car. thanks for any help on this topic, if i go to mazda i could be spending hundreds if not 2 thousand (a faulty ECU)

  Mazda 323F on a 51 plate. Lovely car, but damned uncomfortable to drive. I have added lots of additional foam to the front setas, both the seat and back, but it is still causing pain to the lower of my back.

  Just bought a Mazda 2 1.4 Capella with Auto Shift transmission. Car great and box seems fine. Just wondered if anybody had found the same as me ie in Auto mode the changedown from 2nd to 1st as you brake (ie stopping at lights) can be felt ever so slightly through the break pedal (ie I'm aware of first being selected by the engine).

  Heard a piece about the new Mazda RX8 on the radio this aft' - sounds a very, very nice car. Rotary engine, 4 doors (2 rear doors open backwards & allow better access), enough room in the back for 2 adults (big problem with Toyota Celica) ll starating from about £19k or thereabarts !

  Is DH (Sporty but nice) aware that the Mazda CX-3 has been discontinued in the UK? There may still be a few unregistered cars in the dealer network, but they will already have depreciated in value before they leave the showroom. Mazda are hoping that former CX-3 buyers will go for the new and more expensive CX-30, but that remains to be seen.
