Bought a 2008 XC70 with just 18000 miles from new. No apparent service history, no book. I got a new service book from Volvo, a print out of previous services and all was good.
I got the supplying dealer to stamp the book, confirmed that they serviced the gearbox and replaced the cambelt due to age.
I love the looks, the extra height, it’s silver with beige leather interior. Very classy looking, faster than it looks, ride is excellent, three suspension settings, comfort, sport, advanced.
Fuel economy not as good as I expected or thought, last two fill ups 34 mpg. Hopefully on a decent run this may improve.
Fit & finish is excellent and the seats are very comfy.
Boot is huge as you would expect from a Volvo estate.
Going to put Michelin Cross Climate tyres on when these Chinese tyres wear out.
