One of the best value used cars on the market. (Thanks to the stupid Jeremy Clarkson 'test' on Top Gear.)

A superbly comfortable long distance car. The V6 diesel is smooth and powerful and at motorway speeds will easily do 45 mpg with an automatic gearbox. My average fuel consumption over 73,000 miles is 34.5 which I am very happy with. It has the best legroom of any medium/large car and the adjustable seats in the rear prove to be really good. The best version is the early 2003/4 Elite model as it has fully electric adjustable front seats plus memory for the drivers seat (linked to the interior and outside mirrors as well). The early version also has the Travel Assist unit on the back seat - a fridge plus place to fit a DVD player etc. Very useful in hot weather.

The big engine models also have 314mm front brakes which are truly impressive.

All round a very good car which I will run for a few more years yet. The only problem will be to find something to replace it that is as good.
