Solid, well built with Toyota reliability

Why do the so called 'experts' have a down on this car? This is the second one I have owned, the first purchased new in 2007 and no faults whatsover (still going strong with my daughter)and the present one has yet to cause a problem. The performance is excellent from a great diesel engine coupled to a good auto box which effects gear changes without hassle or jerkiness and hardly any engine noise in the cabin. OK the ride is a bit on the hard side, but it is a utility vehicle designed to take some harsh treatment and it could be better on fuel consumption. These are the only downsides to the vehicle and in all other respects it performs very well. I am 6'4" and find the driving position comfortable even on long journeys and best of all it's well built with Toyota reliability. Please stop knocking this model, it stacks up well against most of the other crossovers out there and this one will be going when some of those have gone to the breakers.
