Suzuki Swift (2017 on)
1.0 SZ5 Boosterjet Shvs 5dr Hatchback
Seriously underrated
After discarding Polo, Picanto and Yaris, to name but three, chose the turbo charged Swift.
It's comfortable, quick, economical (57 mpg without hanging about), good brakes, stylish and a breeze to reverse park plus it fits in my 80's garage.
Adaptive cruise is good on the M25, less useful on open roads. Collision avoidance is irritating but useful. I don't understand the "mild hybrid" but it doesnt cause me any angst.
Long journeys are comfortable and relatively stress free compared to my earlier Dig-S Micra.
I don't like the lack of a spare wheel but have managed to source one from Carnoisseur. I bought one supplied by the Suzuki dealer but it went back as it intruded big time above the boot floor.
We all have a tendency to wax lyrical about our motor as we don't want to admit we've bought a dog but I genuinely like the Swift.
