A modern version of my '87 MG Metro

My car arrived with 26000 miles. For the last year it has always started first time. Fuel economy can't quite get much over 50mpg but it does weigh 1.3T. The engine has little low down torque and it does frustate me sometimes - my last car was an Audi 2.0L petrol so you see why! The motor will rev cleanly to 6500rpm but will manage well changing gear at 2500. The interior has a few buzzing parts that seem to be the rear parcel shelf and seatbelt mounts on B pillar. The car reminds me a lot of my MG Metro even if the Swift is a more sombre interior. The Yaris based engine having a chain rather than belt was an attraction. I'm going for a service at a local garage rather than the dealer to save on service costs. I'd have another Swift - wish they made a convertable!
