Overall reliability

excellent to drive, but small petrol tank.

I got this car a month ago already done over a 1000miles in it. It had covered 94,000 miles with a full subaru service history. It feels like 30,000miles. there are no rattles or sqeeks and everything works fine. I have done an oil change as soon as I got the car,one of the easiest I have ever done the filter and drain plug are very close together you need not move the bowl at all. the only problem came with not being able to drive up ramps to do this ,I needed axel stands as the spoiler got in the way.
The only other small problem so far is the size of the fuel tank 50l is a bit on the small side, but at present it costs just over £54 to fill up at 2013 prices.
The driving postion is good as is the seating . but the quality of the carpet is typical jap.which is a shame, but as long as you look after it (no sharp edges to catch the carpet) it should be OK.
The gear shift is very presice and the clutch is light,it could use a sixth gear for motorway driving which I would expect the revs to drop to just about 2.5k. but alas this being the povity model it was never gonna happen. Shame.
