Excellent car, but dodgy engine
I am very pleased with the car in all respects apart fro the 1.8TSi petrol engine. Apparently all 1.8 VAG engines of this vintage have a design fault with the piston rings and mine like others suffers from excessive oil consumption. It is likely that at some point this will reach a point where an engine rebuild is necessary.
