Comfortable and spacious

Aquired this as a new company car just a few weeks ago. Seems to be averaging about 53mpg so far after 2100 miles. It is nice to drive, the seats are comfortable and it is well equipped. I like the flexibility with the boot floor - the height can be changed.

A couple of things I'm not so keen on. It has 17 inch wheels which i guess makes it look cool but I'd prefer not to have such low profile tryes as they make the ride a bit hard. 16 inch wheels would be more comfortable and the tyres would be cheaper to replace!

Also it has a 5 speed gearbox, which i find odd. These days 6 speed gearboxes are pretty standard in this type of car. The 5 speed box means sometimes there is too big a jump between gears, which means you end up using more revs.

Also on the motorway there is noticeable engine drone which is a little disappointing. Engine noise becomes quite noticeable above 2000rpm in any gear. I'm guessing they have taken soundproofing out to save weight/money. A 6th gear would make motorway travel a little more civilised.

Handling is very good, it could do with a bit more feedback through the wheel though.
